“Behold, days are coming, the Word of the Master HaShem Elohim, when I will send famine into the land; not a famine for bread nor a thirst for water, but to hear the Words of HaShem.” Amos 8:11
As I put this Op together it is 21 January 2021, the day after America installed a new President into office i.e. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. There is much turmoil and controversy surrounding this event as there is enormous amounts of legitimate evidence the 2020 Presidential election was illegitimate and the term I have seen in various news sites is that the election was robbed/stolen, keep this in mind as it will be very relevant to this Op.
It is sad I even have to say this, but I am very well aware it is now very dangerous to utter such statements online and can result in being banned and erased from social media, land of the free? Truth is now a very dangerous topic to publicly discuss!
How is it possible in America today someone could be installed to the highest office in the land illegitimately and no one prevented this usurpation from taking place? The laws appear to be impotent while the judges look the other way. Those responsible to preserve the integrity of our justice, election and financial systems appear to have just smiled and looked the other way. Again, truth is now a very dangerous topic to publicly discuss!
This said, all of this has led me to examine further what Yeshua warned us with regards to the End of Days and how the world would look to those of us alive to witness and experience it. This is what we are going to examine in this Op as I believe it is more relevant now than ever.
But as always, never forget, especially now, the following unchanging characteristics of HaShem!! It is vital we never let go of Him as He is the ONLY way we are going to get through all this as well as what is coming:

Yeshua warned us in Luke 17:26-30 the following: “And as it came to be in the days of Noah, so also shall it be in the days of the Son of Adam. They were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were given in marriage, UNTIL the day that Noah went into the Ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. And likewise, as it came to be in the days of Lot. They were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building, but on the day Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and sulphur from heaven and destroyed all. It shall be the same in the day the Son of Adam is revealed.”
Yeshua is pointing back to Noah and Lot and the state of the world and society as a reference point for us today. This means we MUST go back and examine what was the world and society like during the times of Noah and Lot because how it was then is how it will be in the end….Remember nothing new under the sun and He reveals the end from the beginning!
So, we will go back and quickly look at these two examples and see if there are any similarities to what we see today around us? We will begin with Noah.
HaShem says in Bereishit (Genesis) 6:13 “The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with robbery through them; and behold, I shall destroy them from the earth.” HaShem here says the earth was filled with robbery, therefore He would destroy humanity from the earth. Was robbery the main reason for His decree or is there much, much more too this we are not understanding in the English translations? I can assure you, the Hebrew is MUCH more descriptive and is MUCH more revealing!
The Hebrew word used here for the English word ‘Robbery’ is ‘Chamas’ (Khamas) and in Hebrew it means the following:
- A violent shaking
- COMMIT EVIL INCREMENTALLY
- LAW EVADING EVIL
Very interesting!! So while we see this word ‘Robbery’ and think of thievery, in reality, it is so much more. Committing evil incrementally is a very powerful and important description to hold onto as we will examine this deeply here shortly. Law evading evil is another one to hold onto!
The Midrash Rabbah Bereishit (Genesis) examines this verse from Genesis 6:13 and gives us some very important insight as to the definition of this word ‘Chamas’. It says: “Robbery, says our Midrash, acts as a rod against the wicked. How does this occur? Rabbi Samson Raphael Hirsch offers an insightful explanation.
First he defines the term ‘Chamas’, translated here as ‘robbery’. The truth is that chamas is NOT JUST ANY ROBBERY; as the Midrash states, chamas refers SPECIFICALLY to robbery or other wrongs THAT ARE TOO PETTY TO BE REMEDIED THROUGH LEGAL PROCEEDINGS, but if committed repeatedly can gradually bring the victim to ruin. In a linguistic and conceptual sense, chamas is related to chometz i.e. vinegar. Like chamas, the fermentation process does not cause wine to sour all at once, but slowly, gradually, turns it into vinegar.
Where did all this chamas come from? How did this insidious practice develop and spread? The Torah itself describes the process. To begin with, there was a corruption of morals, a proliferation of sins that no one imagined would have any effect on civil society. People thought that even if the young are dissolute and marriage has lost its sanctity, trade and commerce can still flourish and business relationships can proceed honestly.
But they were wrong. Once the world is corrupt before G-d, manmade laws and institutions will be to no avail; all aspects of society will break down and go to ruin. Not through ‘Gezel’ (Outright robbery), which society can fend off through penal codes and prison terms, but through chamas, evil done with devious cunning. Against such evil there can be no protection unless people develop a conscience that will hold them accountable to G-d for their actions. This conscience is the inner core of humanity, and it is fatally undermined by immorality.
We have before us, then, the progression of evil. It begins with immorality, what the above verse terms as ‘Corruption’. Immoral behavior impairs man’s conscience; the lack of conscience promotes chamas; the uncontrolled chamas tears apart the social fabric; and a society is ruined. So inexorable is this process that G-d declared before the Flood ‘The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with chamas.’ In effect, G-d is saying, ‘The world’s end is already before Me; if I do not intervene, it will all go completely to ruin by itself.’
Thus when Ezekiel said that chamas acts a rod against the wicked (Ezekiel 7:11 which says “Injustice has arisen into a rod of wickedness; not from them, nor from their multitudes nor from their children. For there is not one who seeks among them.”), he meant that the conscience free practice of chamas destroys the perpetrators’ own society and brings them down as well.
Having explained the first phrase of the Ezekiel verse, Rabbi Hirsch goes on to interpret the remainder of the verse in the same vein, albeit in a way that diverges from our Midrash.
Not from them – the inevitable calamity does not come from the natural state of men; not from their multitudes – it does not come from overcrowding; and it does not come from social relationships. Neither does the misery lie in them i.e. in men as such. Rather, the calamity springs from chamas. Because of chamas, human society becomes chometz, it turns sour and decays.”
Very interesting, so we see the society of the time of Noah had slowly, gradually adopted all sorts of seemingly innocuous immorality, sins and wickedness, thinking they were unaffected, but in reality, this chamas slowly soured the society to the point their conscience was rendered completely irrelevant and useless until it led to their absolute destruction. Does this not describe America today? We have embraced so much immorality, corruption, homosexuality, transgenderism, etc, now our collective conscience is rendered completely irrelevant to the point our judges look the other way from blatant crimes and as a result a wholly corrupted man can be installed to the highest position in the land! And to think it all began by taking small, incremental steps towards embracing various forms of immorality, chipping away little by little the family, morality and righteousness until now, today, speaking the truth is literally deemed offensive and a threat to society!
It is interesting, in Tractate Sanhedrin 108a in the Talmud Bavli, it says when describing the generation of the Flood: “The generation of the flood became haughty and sinned due only to the excessive goodness that the Holy One, Blessed be He, bestowed upon them.” They were blessed with abundant food, water, pleasures, and they took it all for granted, forgot Who gave it too them, and their pride and arrogance took over. Gee, sound familiar to today?
Further, Sanhedrin 108a says “Come and see how great the power of robbery, for the generation of the Flood transgressed everything, but the decree against them for those sins was not sealed until they stretched forth their hands in robbery. The Midrash therefore concludes by stating that although their fate was sealed due to the sin of robbery, the sin that warranted their destruction was that of promiscuity. That the sin warranting their destruction was that of promiscuity is derived from which it states in the Genesis 6:12 ‘For all flesh had corrupted its way upon the earth’ is a reference to promiscuity, followed immediately by G-d’s declaration ‘The end of flesh has come before Me.'”
This word ‘Corrupt’ in Hebrew means:
- To destroy
- Degenerate irreversibly
- Social deterioration
- Corrupt in morals
- Go to ruin
Additionally, the Midrash states “The members of the generation of the Flood were not blotted out from the world UNTIL they wrote marriage documents for males marrying other males and animals. This is derived from Genesis 6:2 ‘And they took for themselves wives from whomever they chose.’ The term which is indicative of marriage, refers not only to the wives but also to the males and animals included in the words ‘from whomever they chose’. This practice sealed their fate, as not only did they engage in such acts privately, they shamelessly publicized their abominable lifestyles. WHEREVER ONE FINDS PROMISCUITY, A CALAMITY OF MASS DESTRUCTION IS VISITED UPON THE WORLD THAT KILLS GOOD AND BAD ALIKE. Only when this practice gained currency was it impossible for G-d’s goals for the world to be realized through mankind as then constituted. Sinners who guiltily yield to temptation can be reformed. But those who perversely cast sin as a virtue will NEVER be set right.” And all of this started with just a little acceptance of immorality and chamas encroached upon the society leading it too its ruin!
Good grief, how many times are we all inundated with homosexuality and transgenderism on a daily basis? Our new national leader is appointing the first openly transgender male playing dress up as a female to the cabinet of the President as the Assistant Health Secretary! These abominable, filthy, vile, wicked lifestyles are now openly, shamelessly celebrated, praised and exalted while those of us who are revolted by and reject this filth as being an affront to HaShem are ridiculed, declared to be a bigot, a racist and if possible exiled from society. My point is, this alone is proof Jeremiah 50-51 is NOT far off from striking America as the Days of Noah are no doubt here today!
Now let’s look into Lot!
Genesis 18:20-21 says “So HaShem said, ‘Because the outcry of Sodom and Gomorrah has become great and because their sin has been very grave, I will descend and see. If they act in accordance with its outcry which has come before Me, then destruction! And if not, I will know.”
Again, when we go to the Hebrew translation, this account explodes into detail. The commentary on these verses says “Our verse says that the outcry of Sodom has become great. Since the Torah is not written with vowels, the word can also be read ‘Young woman’. There was a young woman in Sodom who would secretly hide bread in her pitcher and bring it out to the poor. Her actions were eventually discovered by the wicked Sodomites. To punish her, they smeared her with honey and placed her atop of the city wall. Attracted by the honey covering her, bees came and ate her i.e. stung her to death. The ultimate outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah was a result of the crime against the young woman.”
Genesis 13:13 says “And the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the L-rd exceedingly.” Tractate Sanhedrin 109a from the Talmud Bavli explains “The word ‘Wicked’ is referring to sins they committed with their bodies; ‘And sinners’ is referring to sins they committed with their money.” Not only were they exceedingly wicked sexually embracing immorality, homosexuality, etc, but they also were incredibly greedy with their money and refused to help the poor!
Tractate Sanhedrin 109a further explains “The people of Sodom set their sights on property owners. They would take one and place him alongside an inclined, flimsy wall that was about to fall, and push it upon him to kill him, and then they would come and take his property.” Point is, they were so filled with greed and lust for possessions they would find ways to kill, yet make it look like it was an accident, and then seize the property they desired in the first place.
The basis for the girl being smothered with honey is that she dared to help the poor and the Sodomites killed her in that cruel, brutal fashion and her outcry reached to HaShem! It was this incident that sealed their fate! Further, Sodom had very wicked and perverted justices!
Tractate Sanhedrin 109b from the Talmud Bavli says “There were four judges in Sodom and they were named for their actions: Shakrai, meaning liar, and Shakrurai, habitual liar, Zayfai, forger and Matzlei Dina, perverter of justice. These were the judgments they rendered: In a case of one who strikes the wife of another and causes her to miscarry, they would say to the woman’s husband ‘Give the woman to the one who struck her, so that she will be impregnated for you again’. In a case of one who severed the ear of another’s donkey, they would say to the owner of the donkey ‘Give the donkey to the one who caused the dame, until the ear grows back.’ In a case of one who wounds another, they would say to the injured party ‘Give the one who wounded you a fee, as he let your blood.'”
Point is, Sodom was not just abundantly immoral and filled with homosexuality, but they were also wholly corrupt with greed, arrogance and their justice system was rotten, favoring the criminals depending on what your status was in society i.e. part of the elite or not. Gee, do we see anything like this today?
So the question some may ask is ‘If HaShem knows everything, then why would He go down to see Sodom for Himself, and if it is according to the outcry then destruction…?’ Even in this, HaShem is showing mercy in that His going down to Sodom is an idiom to mean He is giving them one last chance to make teshuvah (Repent). If they rejected that final opportunity to repent i.e. return to HaShem, then destruction would fall! Clearly, the Sodomites refused to repent, therefore HaShem sent the two angels to Lot in order to get them out of the city before the destruction would come!
Why is this important for us today? Because, it again proves HaShem WILL rescue out His Own BEFORE His destruction falls! He saved Noah and his family on the Ark while the world was wiped out and He sent two angels to rescue Lot and his family before the fire from heaven fell and wiped out Sodom.
Is it possible then, that HaShem establishing President Trump, was His way of giving America a four year opportunity to make teshuvah (Repent)? Is it then also possible that opportunity wasn’t taken by society and therefore the corruption and ‘chamas’ prevailed and now we have Biden sitting in the highest position in the land which will absolutely lead to Jeremiah 50-51? Again, just asking the question.
It is my opinion that we are very much living in the Days of Noah and the Days of Lot in America today! This means our redemption must be VERY near!
Consider what the following says from Tractate Sanhedrin 99b which says “One who has the word of G-d placed in his mouth through Torah study has established heaven and earth. Rabbi Yoĥanan says: One who engages in Torah study also protects the entire world, as it is stated: “And I have covered you in the shadow of My hand.” And Levi says: He also advances the coming of the redemption, as it is stated: “And say to Zion, you are My people.” Why did I include this? Because I believe it is an indicator for how the End must play out in that 2 Thess 2:7 talks about how the restrainer must be removed prior to the revealing of the False Messiah to the world stage. In my opinion, that restrainer is the people of HaShem who are engaging in Torah study and living out Torah in service to HaShem out of love, devotion and loyalty, not out of religious rote!
This said, because of the ever increasing wickedness of man, HaShem sends a famine for hearing the Word of HaShem i.e. His Torah. Darkness increases and the hearts of men grow cold followed by ever increasing judgments. Since HaShem reveals the end out of the beginning, He must rescue out His Own prior to Jeremiah 50-51 falling on Babylon i.e. America which then propels the False Messiah to the world stage out of Europe. We are reminded in 2 Peter 2:5 and 2:7 how HaShem saved Noah and his family along with Lot and his family! HaShem is unchanging!
I read one comment from an ancient rabbi who told his students to always be ready and plan on repenting before HaShem the day before they die. His students asked him how that is possible since no one knows what day we will die. The rabbi smiled and said ‘That’s the point, always be in a state of repentance before HaShem because we don’t know!’‘
We are absolutely living in very perilous and treacherous times, especially now that this man of corruption has assumed the highest position in the land. Now more than ever we all must make teshuvah (Repent) before HaShem and commit ourselves to studying, learning and living out His Torah in this world for His Torah is not only the truth there is, but it is a tree of life to those who take hold of it. In doing so, we will know who the real Messiah is and not fall for the counterfeit!
- Know Torah = Know Yeshua
- No Torah = No Yeshua
