YOM HAQAHAL = THE DAY OF THE ASSEMBLY!

“Behold, the days are coming, the Word of HaShem, when I will fulfill the favorable matter that I spoke concerning the House of Israel and the House of Judah. In those days, at that time, I will cause a sprout of righteousness to sprout forth for David, and he will administer justice and righteousness in the land. In those days Judah will be saved and Jerusalem will dwell in security; and this is what people will call Jerusalem: ‘HaShem is Our Righteous One.’ For thus said HaShem: ‘There shall not be cut off from David a man who sits on the throne of the House of Israel. And for the Kohanim, the Levites, there will never be cut off a man from before Me who offers burnt offerings and burns meal offerings and performs feast offerings all the days.'” Jeremiah 33:14-18

In my opinion, I believe most people would agree today that the world as we know it, is falling apart all around us. The pressures of life are consuming us day by day and there never seems like there is enough time in a day to get done what must be done. The demands of life are growing more intense by the day and those we are employed by are piling the work on more and more as each day progresses. Health issues are progressing and intensifying and from a pure fleshly perspective, it does appear, to the naked eye, that all hope is lost, but is that truly the case?

As I write this Op, it is 25 January 2020, Shabbat and the Torah portion for today is ‘Va’era’ which is found in Shemot (Exodus) 6:2-9:35. It is the Torah portion where HaShem responds to the cries of enslaved and oppressed Israel, under the crushing hand of Pharaoh in Egypt.

HaShem then utters to Moshe the most hopeful words anyone could ever hope to hear when He says in Shemot 6:5-6 “Moreover, I have heard the groan of the Children of Israel whom Egypt enslaves and I have remembered the covenant. Therefore, say to the Children of Israel: ‘I am HaShem, and I shall take you out from under the burdens of Egypt; I shall rescue you from their service; I shall redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments.'” Can you imagine the exhilaration in hearing those words that very soon everyone will be set free and loosed from the bonds of oppression? Imagine hearing those same words today?

People today would say “but no one is under bondage and oppression like what is described in Exodus!” I strongly disagree. Oppression has many flavors per se! Entertainment, electronic gadgets, social justice causes, etc, all lead to oppression and bondage as we see here in America today. To add insult to injury, many people today are so oppressed spiritually they are unable to see the bondage they are being crushed under or worse yet, the indoctrination centers of Replacement Theology, i.e. the Churches, have convinced them the crushing oppression is actually what HaShem gave us so we could live in freedom i.e. His Torah!

So the questions must be asked, ‘What HaShem had designed from the beginning to be His people, is it encapsulated in what we see today as being a part of the Replacement Theology indoctrination centers or is it something much more? Did He reveal His plan much earlier than what is commonly taught?’ When we answer these questions, I am prayerfully hoping people will do what I did and slap their hand to their head and say ‘Duh! HaShem made it so simple, it was always in front of me this whole time!’

But before we can begin to tackle these questions, always remember the following because they are vital in our walk with HaShem:

– HaShem never changes per Num 23:19/Mal 3:6/Hebrews 13:8/James 1:17
– His Word is firmly established per Psalm 119:89
– He reveals the end out of the beginning per Is 46:10
– He does nothing without first revealing it to His prophets per Amos 3:7
– He says there is nothing new under the sun per Ecclesiastes 1:9
– He says His Torah is eternal per Proverbs 3:19 and Psalm 119:160
– He says His Torah is perfect and restores the soul per Psalm 19:7
– He says His Torah makes the simple one wise per Psalm 19:7
– He says His Torah Is freedom and liberty per Psalm Ps 119:45 and James 1:25
– He says His Torah is the only good doctrine there is Proverbs 4:2
– He says His Torah will add length of days and years of life and peace per Proverbs 3:2
– He says all of the ways of His Torah are ways of pleasantness and peace per Proverbs 3:17
– He says His Torah is for our good and well-being per Deuteronomy 6:24
– He says His Torah is health for our lives per Proverbs 3:8
– He says His Torah is life to our soul and a graceful ornament for our neck per Prov 3:22
– He says His Torah is better than pearls and all desires cannot compare to it per Prov 8:11
– He says those who walk with His Torah are praiseworthy per Psalms 119:1
– He says observing His Torah is how we purify our path per Psalms 119:9
– He says His Torah is better than thousands in gold and silver per Psalms 119:72
– He says His Torah brings abundant peace to those who love Him and His Torah per Psalms 119:165
– He says there is one Torah for all per Exodus 12:49/Leviticus 24:22
– He says those who hate His Torah love death per Proverbs 8:36

In order to answer these questions I posed above, I will have to make statements and comments which may offend some. Please understand it is NOT my intention to offend anyone. It is my intention to make these statements and comments in order to hopefully cause some to stop, examine for themselves and reflect. Now for the record, let me state it again, I do NOT believe that everyone who is in the indoctrination centers of Replacement Theology is lost or outside of the Kingdom of HaShem, simply because I do not have that authority to declare it so. Only HaShem knows where everyone’s hearts are truly at. This all said, let’s begin.

It has been commonly taught over the centuries that the ‘Church’ began on Pentecost with the falling of the Holy Spirit as is read in Acts 2 in the Apostolic Writings. This entity called the ‘Church’ somehow replaced Israel, separated itself from anything “Jewish”, tossed out the Torah, changed the Feasts of HaShem to Christmas/Easter, changed His Shabbat to any day of the week and declared all unclean foods now clean to eat. Then at the same time claim the ‘Church’ is the embodiment of people HaShem always desired and now will condemn Israel and save the ‘Church.’ This pretty much sums the doctrine of Replacement Theology, but is there any truth to this doctrine? Let’s research this a bit further and find out.

Yeshua makes some interesting comments in Matthew 16:13-20 which says “Now when Yeshua came into the parts of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His talmidim (Students/Apostles) ones, saying, ‘Who do men say the Son of Adam is?’ And they said, ‘Some say Yochanan (John) the Immerser, and others Eliyahu (Elijah), and others Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) or one of the prophets.’ He said to them, ‘And you, who do you say I am?’ And Shim’on Kepha (Peter) answering, said, ‘You are the Mashiach, the Son of the living Elohim.’ And Yeshua answering, said to him, ‘Blessed are you, Shim’on Bar-Yonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father in the heavens. And I also say to you that you are Kepha, and on this rock I shall build My assembly, and the gates of She’ol shall not overcome it. And I shall give you the keys of the reign of the heavens, and whatever you bind on earth shall be having been bound in the heavens, and whatever you loosen on earth shall be having loosened in the heavens.’ Then He warned His talmidim that they should say to no one that He is Yeshua the Mashiach.”

Now for many centuries, Replacement Theology has used these verses as the basis for the establishment of the ‘Church’ as being something separated from Israel and devoid of anything HaShem had established from the beginning. On a side note: What is interesting is even Yeshua acknowledges this revelation of His mission is only by HaShem. Why is this interesting? Because it proves once more Yeshua is NOT HaShem in the flesh….again it challenges the doctrine of Replacement Theology. I digress.

If we jump to Acts 2, we read about the Feast of Shavuot (Erroneously called Pentecost) when the talmidim of Yeshua were all in one place in Jerusalem after He had ascended from the Mt of Olives. It is here read about the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) of HaShem that fell upon them all and empowered them. Again, these verses are used by Replacement Theology to teach the ‘Church’ was established on this day and it is completely separate from Israel, devoid of anything HaShem had established from the beginning. Is this true?

Consider this event in Acts 2 occurred on the Feast of Shavuot? Why is this interesting? Because if Yeshua’s mission was to free Israel from the Torah as Replacement Theology teaches, then shouldn’t this event have occurred on a non Feast day in order to establish the foundation of breaking away from the Torah?

Consider Acts 6:7 which says “And the Word of Elohim spread, and the number of talmidim increased greatly in Jerusalem and a great many of the Kohanim (Priests) and Leviim (Levites) were obedient to the belief.” So here we have a great many Jews in Jerusalem to include the Kohanim and Levites who officiate the Temple Services, all acknowledge Yeshua as being the Messiah and yet they all continue to perform their duties in the Temple to include offering up Chatat (Sin) Offerings! Point is, clearly there is no conflict between Yeshua and the Temple, Torah, Feasts, Shabbat, Offerings, etc. In fact it is just the opposite in that clearly you cannot have a belief in Yeshua without the Torah of HaShem!

Consider another verse from Acts, specifically Acts 21:20 which says “And when they heard it, they praised the Master (Yeshua). And they said to him (Shaul), ‘You see, brother, how many thousands of Yehudim there are who have believed, and all are zealous for the Torah.'” Again, we see the believers in Yeshua are all Jews who did NOT give up the Torah, Temple, Feasts, Shabbat, Offerings, etc!

Now consider what Yeshua said in Yochanan (John) 4:22 which says “You worship what you do not know. We worship what we know, because the salvation is of the Yehudim.” What was He saying? He was telling the woman He was talking too that the Yehudim (Jewish) definition of what salvation/deliverance is, is the only correct definition. Meaning to try and define salvation from a non-Torah perspective is wholly incorrect and will lead to what we see today with Replacement Theology and all of its various doctrines and ideas of what salvation is and how to obtain it.

How about what Yeshua said in Matthew 23:3 which says “Therefore, whatever they (The Scribes and the Pharisees) say to you to guard, guard and do. But do not do according to their works, for they say, and do not do.” Yeshua is acknowledging the HaShem given authority of the Sanhedrin and that we are required to do what they rule on. Further, to defy the Sanhedrin is to defy HaShem Himself! The caveat He makes as it pertains to the Scribes and Pharisees of His time, is they spoke and taught correctly, but they did not live it out thus His constant hypocrite charge against them! He condemned them because they were not living out the Torah in their own lives! They were teaching the Torah and ruling correctly, but again, their hypocrisy was their undoing just as it is for any of us today!

So what is the point I am trying to drive home? That the assembly of HaShem is NOT what we see within the indoctrination centers of Replacement Theology, but is a Ruach empowered, Torah observant, Feast keeping, Shabbat keeping, Kosher eating, entity that has NOT tossed aside what HaShem has established from the beginning, but has embraced everything He established! Exactly as Yeshua taught and lived Himself!

Who is the Adversary enraged with in Revelation 12:17? “And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to fight with the remnant of her seed, THOSE GUARDING THE TORAH OF HASHEM AND POSSESSING THE WITNESS OF YESHUA MESSIAH.” Does the Adversary concern himself too much with the indoctrination centers of Replacement Theology today? Not too much, he just has to make sure the lying, signs and wonders are still prevalent and active.

So now the question which must be tackled is: ‘Did HaShem reveal what His assembly would be?’ The answer is YES!

Now let’s explore Devarim (Deuteronomy) 18:15-16 which says “A prophet from your midst, from your brethren, like me (Moshe), shall HaShem, your Elohim, establish for you, to him shall you hearken. According to all that you asked of HaShem, your Elohim, in Chorev (Another name for Sinai) ON THE DAY OF THE ASSEMBLY, saying, ‘I can no longer hear the voice of HaShem, my Elohim, and this great fire I can no longer see, so that I shall not die.'”

These are very powerful verses in Devarim simply because they are prophetic in nature in that these are speaking of Mashiach, Whom HaShem will raise up out of Israel, Who will teach what Moshe taught i.e. the Torah. Further, we read that it was at the event of HaShem giving the Torah at Sinai, HaShem labeled it as being ‘The Day of the Assembly’ or in Hebrew ‘Yom HaQahal!’ In other words, it is here at Sinai where HaShem establishes His Assembly and NOT in Jerusalem on Pentecost! Why is this so important to understand? Because when we refer back to Matthew 16 and Yeshua states He will build His assembly, that word in Hebrew is ‘Qahal’, the exact same word used here in Devarim! Point is, the Assembly of HaShem is ISRAEL! It is Torah observant. It is keeping His Feasts. It is keeping His Shabbat. It is to use the phrase, very Jewish in nature! It does NOT embrace Replacement Theology, but just the opposite in that it opposes Replacement Theology and the one Replacement Theology fashioned for itself i.e. Jesus Christ. Remember, I have laid it all out in previous Op’s how Yeshua and the Jesus of Replacement Theology are two different persons, represent two opposing systems. Yeshua represents the Torah, the Feasts, His Shabbat, etc and points to HaShem. Replacement Theology Jesus points to himself, claims to be HaShem, separates from Israel and replaces everything HaShem gave from the beginning. He is the embodiment what HaShem describes as being the False Messiah He warns us about.

So with this all said, we can see, hopefully a little bit clearer, what HaShem desired from the beginning? We need clarity, now more than ever, with all the deception, lies, falsehoods and debauchery consuming the world today. Plus, more importantly, it draws us a little bit closer in our relationship with HaShem and helps us understand the function of Messiah Yeshua vs falling for the lies of the False Messiah.

This is just another short Op and hopefully we can see HaShem truly is unchanging and reveals the end from the beginning. With the world falling apart around us more and more each day, I believe it to be very soon the Greater Exodus will occur and HaShem will rescue all of His people scattered into all the World and bring us all back home into the Land. May it be VERY soon in our days!

Much to consider!

Shabbat Shalom.

WHO IS THE AUTHORITY IN YOUR LIFE – THE SHEMA PRAYER

“Blessed is the man who trusts in HaShem, then HaShem will be his security. He will be like a tree planted near water, which spreads out its roots along a brook and does not see when heat comes, whose foliage is ever fresh; it will not worry in a year of drought and will not stop producing fruit.” Yirmiyah (Jeremiah) 17:7-8

In a world which is constantly competing for our attention via entertainment, pleasures of the flesh, diversions and the emergencies and catastrophes of life, now more than ever, in my opinion, it is vitally important we each know exactly to whom our loyalties lie and to whom is the authority in our lives! Do we seek after our own pleasures and after our own desires of the heart, or do we desire more than futility without purpose?

In the Temple of HaShem in Jerusalem there were the Shacharit (Morning) Services and the Minchah (Afternoon) Services, in which a lamb was slaughtered and offered up as Olah (Burnt) Korbonot (Offering) to HaShem. Part of these services involved the people who would declare to whom they would submit and remain loyal i.e. HaShem, the Elohim of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Elohim of Israel! This continued after the Temple was destroyed by Rome in 70 AD in the form of the Shacharit and Minchah liturgical prayers we read in the Siddur. These prayers take the place of the Temple Services while we await the rebuilding of the Temple of HaShem in Jerusalem.

I am always so disappointed when I read on various blogs people who reject the Siddur claiming the prayers are all “Added by the Rabbis and are not in the Torah, thus they must be rejected and regarded as nothing more than trash.” How much it must grieve the heart of HaShem when He hears these sentiments as well? How much is being lost when people are rejecting the very tools HaShem gave us to learn the deeper meanings of His Word?

The purpose of this Op is not to bash anyone, but to focus and highlight on the astounding intricacies and vital importance of what we know to be called ‘The Shema’ Prayer. Not to mention to experience interacting with HaShem and doing what our forefathers did when drawing near to Him. Keep all of this in mind as we proceed, but before we jump into the heart of this Op, always remember the following:

“Milky Way Galaxy Over Mt. St. Helens in Washington State! I am posting these pictures to highlight the grandeur and vastness of HaShem and what He has created for us to enjoy and wonder at!”

For those who would question the validity of the liturgical prayers recorded in the Siddur, I would direct them to I Chronicles 28:11-13 which says “David then gave to his son Solomon the tavnit (Blueprints) for the Hall and its structures, storage rooms, upper chambers and inner rooms, and for the Chamber of the Ark-Cover, and the tavnit (Blueprints) for all that he had with him by Divine Inspiration, for the courtyards of the Temple of HaShem, and for all the chambers all around, for the storage rooms of the Temple of Elohim, and for the treasuries of the consecrated items, as well as the tavnit (Blueprints) for the divisions of the Kohanim and the Levites, and for all the WORK OF THE SERVICES of the Temple of HaShem, and for all the vessels for the service of the Temple of HaShem.” What does this mean? It means everything done in the Temple to include the Temple Services, the prayers compiled and recited, the Siddur, etc, is ALL given by the Ruach (Spirit) of HaShem to David and who gave it to Solomon to use as the tavnit (Blueprints) for the construction and performance of the Temple! Means nothing was changed, added too or taken away because there is zero authority to do so! I digress.

The Hebrew word ‘Shema’ is best translated as ‘Hear and then Do!‘ It is not an intellectual hearing where one hears something and believes it in their minds but does nothing else. It is the type of hearing as exemplified by Abraham in that he heard the Words of HaShem and then he did them, he put them into practice i.e. the definition of ‘Faith’.

Consider the purpose of the Shema is to declare that only HaShem, the Elohim the Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Elohim of Israel, is One and only He is my King! There is no other and I will not bow to any other!

There are a total of 245 Hebrew words which comprise the Shema, but if we are alone, we add the following three words at the beginning “Elohim, trustworthy King”, which makes it 248 Hebrew words, one word for each human organ in the human body! It is meant to reinforce that the purpose for our physical existence is to obey the precepts of His Torah and exalt His Great Name in the universe!

The Shema consists of three paragraphs which are all derived from the Torah of HaShem and begins with “Hear, O Israel: HaShem is our Elohim, HaShem, the One and Only”:

  • Paragraph One – Derived from Devarim (Deuteronomy) 6:5-6 which says “You shall love HaShem, your Elohim with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your resources. Let these matters that I command you today be upon your heart. Teach them thoroughly to your children and speak of them while you sit in your home, while you walk on the way, when you retire and when you arise. Bind them as a sign upon your arm and let them be tefillin between your eyes. And write them on the doorposts of your house and upon your gates.” This paragraph we are commanded to put on phylacteries (Tefillin) as a sign upon our arm and our eyes (Always fixed upon HaShem), affix mezuzah’s on the doors of our homes (Proclaiming His Name over our homes).
  • Paragraph Two – Derived from Devarim 11:13-21 which says “And it will come to pass that if you continually hearken to My commandments that I command you today, to love HaShem, then I will provide rain for your land in its proper time, the early and late rains, that you may gather in your grain, your wine, and your oil. I will provide grass in your field for your cattle and you will eat and be satisfied. Beware lest your heart be seduced and you turn astray and serve gods of others and bow to them. Then the wrath of HaShem will blaze against you. He will restrain the heaven so there will be no rain and the ground will not yield its produce. And you will will swiftly be banished from the goodly land which HaShem gives you. Place these words of Mine upon your heart and upon your soul; bind them for a sign upon your arm and let them be tefillin between your eyes. Teach them to your children, to discuss them, while you sit in your home, while you walk on the way, when you retire and when you arise. And write them on the doorposts of your house and upon your gates. In order to prolong your days and the days of your children upon the ground that HaShem has sworn to your ancestors to give them, like the days of the heaven on the earth.” Again He re-states the command to put on tefillin as a sign between our arm and our eyes i.e. to always be fixed upon HaShem in our daily lives.
  • Paragraph Three – Derived from Bamidbar (Numbers) 15:37-41 which says “And HaShem said to Moshe saying: ‘Speak to the Children of Israel and say to them that they are to make themselves tzitzis on the corners of their garments, throughout their generations. And they are to place upon the tzitzis of each corner a thread of techeilet (Blue String). And it shall constitute tzitzis for you, that you may see it and remember all the commandments of HaShem and perform them; and not explore after your heart and after your eyes after which you stray. So that you may remember and perform all My commandments; and be holy to your Elohim. I am HaShem, your Elohim, Who has removed you from the land of Egypt to be a Elohim to you. I am HaShem your Elohim, it is true.'” Here in this paragraph HaShem commands the wearing of tzitzit (Fringes) on the four corners of our garments so that when we see them we will not explore after our own hearts and eyes and end up straying from HaShem, but to remember to perform His Torah!

The Shema then recites four paragraphs declaring Who HaShem is:

  • “And certain, established and enduring, fair, and faithful, beloved and cherished, delightful and pleasant, awesome and powerful, correct and accepted, good and beautiful is this affirmation to us forever and ever. True, the Elohim of the universe is our King; the Rock of Jacob is the Shield of our salvation. From generation to generation He endures and His Name endures and His throne is well established; His sovereignty and faithfulness endure forever. His words are living and enduring, faithful and delightful forever and to all eternity; for our forefathers and for us, for our children and for our generations, and for all the generations of Your servant Israel’s offspring.”
  • “Upon the earlier and upon later generations, this affirmation is good and enduring forever. True and faithful, it is an unbreachable decree. It is true that You are HaShem, our Elohim and the Elohim of our forefathers, our King and the King of our forefathers, our Redeemer, the Redeemer of our forefathers; our Molder, the Rock of our salvation; our Liberator and our Rescuer, this has ever been Your Name. There is no Elohim but You.”
  • “The Helper of our forefathers are You alone, forever, Shield and Savior for their children after them in every generation.  At the zenith of the universe is Your dwelling, and Your justice and Your righteousness extend to the ends of the earth.  Praiseworthy is the person who obeys Your commandments and takes to his heart Your teaching and Your word.  True, You are the Master for Your people and a mighty King to take up their grievances.  True, You are the First and You are the Last, and other than You we have no King, Redeemer, or Savior.  From Egypt You redeemed us, HaShem, our Elohim, and from the house of slavery You liberated us.  All their firstborn You slew, but Your firstborn You redeemed; the Sea of Reeds You split; the wanton sinners You drowned; the dear ones You brought across; and the water covered their foes, not one of them was left.  For this, the beloved praised and exalted Elohim; the dear ones offered hymns, songs, praises, blessings, and thanksgivings to the King, the living and enduring Elohim, exalted and uplifted, great and awesome, Who humbles the haughty and lifts the lowly; withdraws the captive, liberates the humble, and helps the poor; Who responds to His people upon their outcry to Him.”
  • “Praises to the Supreme Elohim, the blessed One Who is blessed.  Moshe and the children of Israel exclaimed a song to You with great joy and they all said:  ‘Who is like You among the heavenly powers, HaShem!  Who is like You, mighty in holiness, too awesome for praise, doing wonders.’  With a new song the redeemed ones praised Your Name at the seashore, all of them in unison gave thanks, acknowledged Your sovereignty and said: ‘HaShem shall reign for all eternity’  Rock of Israel, arise to the aid of Israel and liberate, as You pledged, Judah and Israel.  Our Redeemer, HaShem, Master of Legions, is His Name, the Holy One of Israel.  Blessed are You, HaShem, Who redeemed Israel.”

The Shema expresses very well how HaShem is Our King! Imagine how your life will change when you adopt declaring this every morning before beginning your day? Imagine how life will change when you adopt this before going to bed at night? Point is, it will help keep HaShem at the forefront of our lives as we walk through each day and before we retire at night to bed! I know from personal experience!!

Now some may ask ‘Did Yeshua ever mention the Shema?’ The answer is an emphatic YES! Mark 12:28-32 says “And one of the scribes coming near, hearing them reasoning together, knowing that He had answered them well, asked Him, ‘Which is the first command of all?’ And Yeshua answered him, ‘The first of all the commands is, ‘Shema, O Israel, HaShem our Elohim, HaShem is One (Quoting Devarim 6:4).’ ‘And you shall love HaShem your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength (Quoting Devarim 6:5).’ This is the first command. And the second is like it, is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as your self (Quoting Vayikra/Leviticus 19:18).’ There is no other command greater than these.'”

So yes, Yeshua did in fact quote, support and reinforce the Shema! This would include the tefillin, mezuzahs and tzitzit, which again would show by default Yeshua Himself wore tefillin and tzitzit! This again separates Yeshua from the one Replacement Theology props up and displays for the world to see for per the doctrine we see that one tosses Torah to include the Shema outside, declares it all having been done away with and per all the paintings we see, wears Roman senatorial garments, with a red sash, long flowing locks of hair, blue eyes, etc. Nothing like the Yeshua of the Word of HaShem. I digress.

This is just a short Op to quickly discuss The Shema. There is much for all of us to consider and I encourage everyone to check this out for themselves.

Have a blessed week.

Shabbat Shalom.

A MATTER OF THE HEART – SHABBAT

“Deal kindly with Your servant, let me live that I may keep Your word. Unveil my eyes that I may perceive wonders from Your Torah.” Psalms 119:17-18

Life, as of late, is becoming much more difficult for people who are striving to serve HaShem, the Elohim of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Elohim of Israel! Many are now more than ever looking upwards and asking HaShem, ‘Master, how much longer until You intervene to rescue Your people?’ The hits, the whacks, the emergencies, the struggle each of us are having to endure is at unprecedented levels never before seen at any time of my 45 years of life thus far. While the hits and whacks increase, equally increasing are the opportunities HaShem is opening up for His people to truly learn and apply to our lives His Ways of living. In effect, for the first time in our lives, truly knowing our Master and truly serving Him the way He always intended!

There is a very interesting sequence of verses Paul states in 1 Corinthians 6:14-18 which says “Do not become unevenly yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness and lawlessness? And what fellowship has light with darkness? And what agreement has Messiah with Belial? Or what part does a believer have with an unbeliever? And what union has the Dwelling Place of Elohim with idols? For you are a Dwelling Place of the living Elohim, as Elohim has said, ‘I shall dwell in them and walk among them, and I shall be their Elohim, and they shall be My people (Vayikra 26:12). Therefore, come out from among them and be separate, says HaShem, and do not touch what is unclean, and I shall receive you (Isaiah 52:11). And I shall be a Father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to Me, says HaShem the Almighty (Isaiah 43:6/Hoshea 1:10)'”

The part of these verses which jumped out at me is the underlined part: “For what partnership has righteousness and lawlessness?” This word ‘Lawlessness’ in Greek is ‘Anomia’ which translates into “Without the Torah of HaShem.” Why is this so significant? Because Replacement Theology doctrine teaches the Torah has been nullified, rendered obsolete, irrelevant and replaced. This doctrine is based upon very bad translations of Paul’s letters and has done enormous damage to humanity throughout the centuries. If Replacement Theology is the truth, then why is Paul warning not to engage in partnerships in which righteousness and lawlessness are not opposed to one another? In other words, if Replacement Theology is true, then why is Paul having to warn about staying away from doctrine that teaches the Torah is now rendered obsolete, irrelevant and replaced? Hmmmmm….

On the flip side, what is the biblical definition of ‘Righteousness?’ Devarim (Deuteronomy) 6:25 says “It shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before HaShem our Elohim as He commanded us.” Interesting…so righteousness is doing the Torah as HaShem commanded.

Further, HaShem tells us in Bereshit (Genesis) 15:6 “Abraham believed and He counted it to him for righteousness.” So Abraham having an intellectual belief in his mind about HaShem was counted to him as being righteous? Modern Christendom teaches this but the word ‘Believed’ has to be translated according to the Word of HaShem and not Replacement Theology. In a nut shell, Abraham believed HaShem and then he demonstrated that belief by doing what HaShem said to do. In other words, belief in HaShem is an action word. A person can say they will pay the cable bill all day long and then go back to doing whatever they have chosen to do, but until that person writes out the check to the cable company and puts the check in the mail, that person’s so called belief means nothing. Putting the check in the mail demonstrates that belief.

HaShem also says in Mishlei (Proverbs) 15:9 “The way of the wicked is an abomination unto HaShem, but He loves him that follows after righteousness.” Following after righteousness is another way to say living a life of Torah unto HaShem out of love, devotion and loyalty unto Him. The way of the wicked i.e. the one who knowingly rejects His Torah is an abomination unto HaShem.

Now for the record, this is NOT implying HaShem demands absolute 100% perfection in living a life of Torah, because that is not possible right now in this life. Further, this is why He embedded within His Torah the means to make teshuvah (Repentance) when we do fail. Ultimately Yeshua, the Agent of HaShem, restored and renewed the covenant which was broken in the Garden and redeemed humanity, although this has not fully come into reality yet…we are still awaiting the day…may it be very soon.

We will discuss this topic in greater detail below as it is my plan to incorporate one of the topics which causes so much angst within Replacement Theology which is the significance and meaning of the weekly Shabbat on the Seventh Day? But first, always remember, especially as it pertains to this Op the following:

If there is one topic which will unfortunately cause the arguments to erupt it can always be counted upon to be the topic of Shabbat! Replacement Theology says “No, we are free from that bondage and legalism, any day of the week can be our Sabbath!” The Torah observant person will say “Not true, HaShem established His day of rest and no one has the right to change that.” Then usually the online arguments ensue. What is astounding is the amount of prophetic information HaShem has embedded within each of His Feasts and most certainly His Shabbat! HaShem willing, when this Op is done, people will read it and search it out for themselves and see the amazing prophetic significance connected to His Shabbat and say “No way will I change the day! Its the Seventh Day, period and a very good thing it is on the Seventh Day otherwise there is no hope!”

But before we can begin to tackle this subject, we need to lay a quick foundation first. First and foremost we have to read the Word of HaShem and understand the way it operates such as when a day begins and ends. In the Kingdom of HaShem time is NOT linear, its circular! Consider, in the West, a day begins at sunrise and ends at sunset, however, in the Kingdom of HaShem, a day begins at sunset and ends the following sunset. Bereshit (Genesis) 1:5 proves this when it says “And the evening and the morning were the first day.” The day begins at evening!

Further, we must understand when HaShem reveals the end out of the beginning, He really means it! For example, He set apart seven whole days for His creation week: Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4, Day 5, Day 6 and then Shabbat (Day 7). Now when we apply what He says in Tehillim (Psalms) 90:4 that “A day is as a thousand years and a thousand years is as a day” we can immediately see HaShem has set apart 7,000 years for humanity to dominate the earth. 6,000 years for man to have total dominion over the earth followed by the final 1,000 years i.e. the Day of HaShem or also known erroneously in Christendom as ‘The Millennium.’ It is during the Day of HaShem where the first seven years are known as ‘The Birth Pangs’ here on earth. On Day One of the Birth Pangs i.e. Rosh HaShannah, the trumpet is sounded and the righteous living are gathered to HaShem in the Heavenly Domain and the righteous dead are resurrected and are gathered as well. Meanwhile on earth, the rise of the False Messiah begins after the complete and sudden destruction of Babylon in one hour (America – Jeremiah 50-51/Revelation 18:17).

In the Heavenly Domain, during these seven years, Yeshua is crowned King and there is a wedding! On earth during this same time, the False Messiah is dominating the world, diseases, judgments, wars, etc, are consuming the planet unlike any other time before in human history. At the end of these seven years, Yeshua and His people (The clouds) return to earth, He sets foot on the Mount of Olives on that Yom Kippur, marches into Jerusalem and defeats and destroys the False Messiah. Then five days later begins the greatest celebration of rejoicing ever in the history of creation as the Feast of Sukkot begins for the next seven days. Then Yeshua will oversee the construction per the tavnit (Blueprints) given in Ezekiel 40-48 and then the re-dedication of the Temple of HaShem will occur on that Hanukkah. He will then rule and reign over the entire world, restoring, renewing what was lost and the Torah will go out to all the world from Jerusalem for the next 993 years…all of which is considered to be ‘The Day of HaShem!’

After The Day of HaShem we then enter into what He calls ‘The Olam Haba’ or ‘The World to Come’ and we have very little information on this time period other than it is the state of creation before the Seven Days He set aside for mankind.

You may ask ‘Is there biblical precedent for the concept of the Messiah to begin His rule for seven years in Heaven first and then move His throne to Jerusalem for the remainder of His kingship?’ I am glad you asked because yes there is! Remember HaShem does nothing without first revealing it to His prophets first! The precedent is found in 2 Samuel 5:5 where it tells us King David began his rule in Hebron (Another name for Heaven) and it lasted for seven years! Then he moved his throne to Jerusalem and ruled for the remainder of his time as king!!

Consider what is revealed in the Book of Yochanan (John) in the Apostolic Writings: The Seven Days are revealed and what happens on Day 7?

  • Yochanan 1:1-28 is Day 1 when light and darkness were created and these verses discuss Yeshua being the Light!
  • Yochanan 1:29-34 it says “On the Next Day” i.e. Day 2 when HaShem created the firmament of the waters around the earth and here in these verses Yochanan is immersing people in the Yarden and sees Yeshua and calls Him ‘The Servant of HaShem Who takes away the sins of the world.’
  • Yochanan 1:35-42 it says “Again the following day” i.e. Day 3 when HaShem revealed the dry land and here in these verses Yochanan and two of his talmidim and see Yeshua, the Servant of HaShem, walking and they go to follow Him.
  • Yochanan 1:43-51 it says “On the following day” i.e. Day 4 when HaShem created the heavenly hosts to mark the times, seasons, festivals, etc and here in these verses Yeshua wished to go to Galil! Galil is another Hebrew word that points towards Heaven!
  • Yochanan 2:1 it says “And on the Third Day there was a wedding in Canaan” i.e. 4 days +3 days = 7 days…On Day 7 (Shabbat/The Day of HaShem) there was a wedding! Is this just a coincidence? Not a chance!

Can you see already how significant and important Shabbat is in the Kingdom of HaShem? Can you already see that it is utterly impossible for His Shabbat to be changed to just any ole day that is convenient for us and our schedules? Can you see how utterly absurd it is to suggest Messiah can change what HaShem established as Replacement Theology teaches in its doctrine that everything left of Matthew has been tossed aside/fulfilled/rendered obsolete? Its laughable to suggest His Torah, Feasts and His Shabbat can be adjusted to fit our lifestyles when in reality we are the ones that have to adjust to Him and His decrees! It is this nonsense that is precisely why Judaism wants nothing to do with Replacement Theology and its deity it is fashioned for itself in its own image! I digress.

Now let’s jump into the deep end of the pool per se and discuss Shabbat!

“Six days shall you labor, and do all your work; but the seventh day is a Shabbat to the Master your Elohim, in it you shall not do any manner of work (Melakhah)” quoting Shemot (Exodus) 20:9-10/Devarim (Deut) 5:13-14. So we see again, HaShem has established that for six days (Literal days) and prophetically six thousand years, humanity will labor/work, but the seventh day is a Shabbat where we rest just as He rested on the seventh day after His creating of everything!

“But My Shabbats you are to safeguard, for it is a sign between Me and you for your generations, to know that I am HaShem Who sanctifies you.” Shemot (Exodus) 31:13. So we see Shabbat is a sign between HaShem and us to know that it is HaShem alone Who sanctifies us!

Remember what was the consequence of Adam sinning in the Garden? Bereshit (Genesis) 3:19 HaShem curses man that “By the sweat of your brow you will eat…” This implies that before the fall, when Adam was to work and guard the Garden as commanded by HaShem in Bereshit 2:15, all Adam had to do was just speak to the plants and they would produce! Now as a result of sin, Adam and subsequently humanity, will have to physically work the ground and by hard labor, sweat and effort, the ground may produce! Can you imagine a world where just speaking to a plant and it produces?

So when HaShem set apart Shabbat and commands that no manner of work may be done on it, what does this imply? It implies that Shabbat is a weekly rehearsal for the ‘Day of HaShem’ in which His people will no longer have to work by the sweat of our brow, but that we will return to the way things were before the fall! In other words, the curse no longer has a hold on us for this one day and we rest in HaShem in all that He has provided us! Baruch HaShem!

Consider the following from a book published by Artscroll titled “Shabbat its essence and significance” which says on page 4 “The word Shabbat, is related to Return, which is the root of the word Teshuvah, or Repentance. This gives us an insight into the role of Shabbat. It signifies return to the Ultimate Source, because the Shabbat is our constant reminder that HaShem created heaven and earth in six days, and on the seventh day He gave us the ability to push away the demanding, unforgiving material world and return to the eternal concept that the same Elohim Who created the world created us, and just as the world serves Him always through His ‘Constitution’ which we call nature, so, too, it is our task to serve Him.”

To sum it up, the Hebrew word ‘Teshuvah’ which means ‘Repentance’ means in its most basic form, to return to HaShem and His Torah! To do things His way and not our own! Can it be Teshuvah to embrace what Replacement Theology teaches in that Shabbat can be any day of the week that we choose or that the Torah has been rendered obsolete and tossed aside? No, it cannot be! It is His way or no way! I digress.

In the Mishnah Tractate Shabbat 7:2 there are 39 definitions of what constitutes ‘work’ as ruled by the Sanhedrin, which if you recall, HaShem establishes and then commands we are not to deviate to the left or right of what the Sanhedrin rules on or it is a death penalty per Devarim (Deut) 17:8-13!

Unfortunately many will read this list and erupt in fury at the thought of not being able to do what they want to do on the day they have chosen to be their Shabbat and others will call it ‘Useless legalism and bondage!’ Consider the concepts HaShem is teaching us behind the meanings of the prohibitions? To rest solely in Him, recognizing everything we have is completely supplied by HaShem and HaShem alone! He is our Shield, our Rock of Protection, He is our Supplier, the Source of Life, our Redeemer, our Savior and there is no other!

Consider the Shabbat Psalm i.e. Psalm 92 which states: “A song with musical accompaniment for the Shabbat day: It is good to thank HaShem, and to sing praise to Your Name, O Exalted One. To relate Your kindness at dawn, and Your faith in the nights. Upon the assor and upon the neivel, with singing accompanied by a harp. For You have gladdened me, HaShem, with Your deeds, at the works of Your hands I will sing glad song. How great are Your deeds, HaShem; exceedingly profound are Your thoughts. Dispersed shall be all doers of iniquity. As exalted as a re’eim’s shall be my pride, I will be saturated with ever fresh oil. My eyes have seen my vigilant foes; when those who would harm me rise up against me my ears have heard. A righteous man will flourish like a date palm, like a cedar in the Lebanon he will grow tall. Planted in the House of HaShem (Temple), in the courtyards of our Elohim they will flourish. They will still be fruitful in old age, full of sap and freshness they will be. To declare that HaShem is just, My Rock in Whom there is no wrong.”

One portion of the commentary of this Psalm says “In this world, men hesitate to make a total commitment to HaShem because they are confused by the suffering of the righteous and by the seeming success of the wicked. But, in the time of Messiah (The Day of HaShem), all apparent iniquity and evil will be purged. The world will then achieve a purity like that of carefully refined metal. When the righteous cease to suffer and the wicked no longer succeed, it will be evident that HaShem is upright. Then, HaShem’s ways will not only be just, they will be perceived as just, and we will join in declaring them to be so.”

In my opinion, this once more shows us Shabbat is a rehearsal for the Day of HaShem, when Messiah Yeshua is ruling and reigning from the rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem and all of HaShem’s enemies have been dealt with, the Torah is going out to the entire world and humanity is finally at peace and can rest.

In rehearsing this each week, we strive to rest, study His Torah, discuss His Torah and seek to apply what He is teaching us to our lives. Then we will grow closer to our Great King, know Him and know His Agent i.e. His Messiah, the real one, not the one Replacement Theology offers up. This is precisely why the adversary despises HaShem’s Torah, His Temple, His Temple Services, His Feasts and most definitely His Shabbat, because they all instantly reveal the real Messiah vs the False Messiah HaShem constantly warns us about!

So with all this said, I will ask the question again, is it possible HaShem changed His mind and allows each of us to choose when His Shabbat is based upon our schedules and how convenient it is for us? Does HaShem look at His Shabbat and the prohibitions as being something legalistic and burdensome? The answer to both of these questions is an emphatic NO!!

Can you see how important His Shabbat is in relation to His prophetic cycle? Knowing this, would we want His Shabbat to be just any ole day of the week? HaShem is communicating very important teachings to us on this day, even down to the Shabbat Services such as the lighting of candles and the reciting of the prayers are all very significant!

I hope and pray this has been somewhat understandable and stirring the interest of people to want to explore and delve deeper into HaShem’s Shabbat? Remember with everything with HaShem it is ALL about the matter of the heart! Bringing an offering may be done perfectly within the limits of His Torah, but if our hearts are not in it, then it means nothing and nothing is hidden from HaShem!

Much to consider in these last of the last days!

Shalom

MESSIAH BEN YOSEF = THE SUFFERING SERVANT AND FIRST-FRUITS

“Do not remove from my mouth the word of utmost truth (Torah), because I hoped for Your judgment. I will safeguard Your Torah constantly, forever and ever. Then I will walk in broad pathways (Freedom), for I sought Your precepts.” Psalms 119:43-45

What did Messiah Yeshua truly come to do on His first coming as prophesied in the Tanakh (Old Testament)? If HaShem truly reveals the end out of the beginning and does nothing without first revealing it to His prophets first coupled with the fact there is nothing new under the sun, then there MUST be some indicators HaShem has left for us to find in His Tanakh! The answer is, yes He has done so, over and over and over again. Keep this in mind as we proceed in this Op.

Additionally, as I post this Op, it is currently the Third Day of Chanukah, the Festival where we celebrate and prepare ourselves for the re-dedication of the Temple of HaShem, to ensure we set ourselves apart for service unto Him and to further apply the concept of kedusha (Holiness) into our daily lives so that we can reflect the Light of HaShem into a very dark, oppressed and deadly world. On a side note, for those who say Chanukah is not commanded by HaShem, therefore we should not acknowledge it, they would be wrong, Chanukah IS commanded and can be found in the book of Haggai the Prophet! I digress.

There is much confusion today concerning the mission of the Messiah of HaShem. Many have and continue to teach that Messiah came solely to be the final chatat (Sin) offering in order to free humanity from the Torah, to challenge and destroy the Temple Services, to end the korbonot (Offerings), to ‘fulfill’ Shabbat along with the annual Feasts of HaShem and then replace it all with a brand new, never before heard of covenant devoid of everything of what I mentioned here above.

Others have and continue to teach that before the advent of Messiah, the world was devoid of love and was bound under the dark, crushing oppression of the Law and that through the fulfillment of the Law, Law was once and for all tossed aside and love finally came flooding into the world. Now the only requirement is for everyone to love each other. Is there any truth to any of this? Right up front, the answer is an emphatic NO!

In this last Torah portion i.e. ‘Vayeshev’ which is found in Bereshit (Genesis) 37:1-40:23, this portion discusses Ya’akov settling down and the narrative for what will later become Messiah Ben Yosef (Messiah Son of Joseph) and I will briefly explain.

I should first note, with regards to the concept of Messiah in ancient Judaism, there two concepts i.e. Messiah Ben Yosef or otherwise known to be Messiah the Son of Yosef or Messiah the Suffering Servant. Then there is Messiah Ben David or Messiah Son of David, the Conquering and Ruling King. Yeshua first came as Messiah Ben Yosef, now we await HaShem sending Him as Messiah Ben David! Keep this all in mind as it is very important to this Op.

Yosef, the son of Ya’akov, favored by his father, grew up and experienced two prophetic dreams in which he saw himself being established as a ruler and leader. He then tells his dreams to his eleven brothers who end up hating and despising him for it. They initially conspire to kill him, but instead sell him to Ishmaelite traders who take Yosef to Egypt and sell him to Potiphar, the servant of Pharaoh. Yosef suffers greatly by this betrayal of his brothers, but HaShem is watching over him and Yosef NEVER forgets who he is nor does he forget to Whom he serves i.e. HaShem! Ultimately, Yosef is falsely accused by Potiphar’s wife, is thrown into prison and while in prison he interprets the dreams of two other prisoners which reaches the ears of Pharaoh. Then in the following Torah portion ‘Mikeitz’, Pharaoh has a troubling dream but no one could interpret it. Yosef is brought before him and is able to interpret it by the revealing of HaShem. The dream from HaShem warns of a coming famine which will be long and very severe. Pharaoh then declares Yosef to be the Viceroy over ALL of Egypt i.e. second in command and Yosef, by the hand of HaShem, mission is to prepare Egypt for this famine and he ends up saving all of Egypt along with Israel when Israel descends into Egypt during the time of this great famine. It is at this point that Yosef’s brothers approach him, not knowing who they are talking too. Yosef indeed knows who they are, he has not forgotten them. Yosef then reveals himself to them and they are all reunited and restored! All of which is a picture of Yeshua, second in command under HaShem, saving all of Israel along with the world, then He will one day rule over ALL of the world from Jerusalem, leading the world in service to HaShem! Baruch HaShem! May it be very soon in our days!

The following is an excerpt from the book, ‘The Messiah Texts’ by Raphael Patai. This book encapsulates what ancient Judaism understood and prepared for with regards to the concept of the Messiah of HaShem. For the record, it is not to be taken literally, but the to understand the concepts and the pictures being painted by the author as he references the texts of ancient Judaism. As I have said before, it is an astounding book and helps to understand what the people of Israel during the time of Yeshua actually thought as it is vastly different from what Christendom teaches. I digress.

On page 104-105 of this book, it states “The Messiah himself, on the other hand, must spend his entire life, from the moment of his creation until the time of his advent many centuries or millennia later, in a state of constant and acute suffering. Despised and afflicted with unhealing wounds, he sits in the gates of Great Rome (Figuratively) and winds and unwinds his bandages of his festering sores; as a Midrash expresses it, ‘Pains have adopted him.’ According to one of the most moving and at the same time psychologically most meaningful, of all Messiah legends, Elohim, when He created the Messiah, gave him the choice whether or not to accept the sufferings for the sins of Israel. And the Messiah answered: ‘I accept it with joy, so that not a single soul of Israel should perish.’ In the later Zoharic formulation of this legend, the Messiah himself summons all the diseases, pains and sufferings of Israel to come upon him, in order thus to ease the anguish of Israel to which otherwise would be unbearable. In all this the Messiah becomes heir to the Suffering Servant of Elohim, who, figures prominently in the prophecies of Deutero-Isaiah, and who suffers undeservedly for the sins of others.”

So we can see ancient Judaism understood the concept of a Suffering Servant of HaShem Who would come twice…once to redeem Israel and the second to conquer, gather all of Israel from around the world, defeat the enemies of Israel once and for all and rule from Jerusalem for a thousand years from where the Torah will go out to the entire world, preparing the world for the World to Come.

You may be asking how, per the title, First-fruits plays into this? Glad you asked! We will discuss this shortly, but before we jump into this topic, always remember and consider the following:

– HaShem never changes per Num 23:19/Mal 3:6/Hebrews 13:8/James 1:17

‘Bikkurim’, the Hebrew word for ‘Firstfruits’ which is derived from the Hebrew word ‘Bechor’ are the Firstfruits of agriculture, kosher animals and firstborn human sons, which are all marked, set apart for HaShem, then are brought to the Temple of HaShem in Jerusalem, redeemed and given to the Kohanim (Priests) and Levi’im (Levites). The Kohanim and Levi’im then offer them up on the Altar to HaShem and eat them within the walls of Jerusalem because they have a kedusha (Holiness) level attached to them. I will explain in much more detail as we proceed because HaShem is very much teaching us a concept and it will also explain what we are reading the Apostolic Writings!

Per Tractate Bechoros in the Talmud Bavli in the general introduction it states the following: “When Elohim redeemed the Children of Israel from Egypt and destroyed all the firstsborns of Egypt, from humans to livestock, in the last of the ten plagues, He forever sanctified the firstborns of Israel by sparing them per Bamidbar (Numbers) 3:13 (‘For every firstborn is Mine: On the day I struck down every firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified every firstborn in Israel for Myself, from man to beast; they shall be Mine, I am HaShem.’) The laws defining this sanctification were then given to Moshe to teach the people per Shemot (Exodus) 13:2, 12-16.”

Lets examine Shemot 13:2 which says “Sanctify to Me every firstborn, the first issue of every womb among the Children of Israel, of man and beast, is Mine.”

Now lets look at Shemot 13:12-16 which says “Then you shall set apart every first issue of the womb to HaShem, and every first issue that is dropped by livestock that belong to you, the males are HaShem’s. Every first issue donkey you shall redeem with a lamb or kid; if you do not redeem it, you shall axe the back of its neck. And you shall redeem every human firstborn among your sons. And it shall be when your son will ask you at some future time, ‘What is this?’ You shall say to him, ‘With a strong hand HaShem removed us from Egypt from the house of bondage. And it happened when Pharaoh stubbornly refused to send us out, that HaShem killed all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of man to the firstborn of beast. Therefore I offer to HaShem all male first issue of the womb, and I shall redeem all the firstborn of my sons. And it shall be a sign upon your arm, and an ornament between your eyes, for with a strong hand HaShem removed us from Egypt.'”

Very interesting verses!! Can you see the connection to the Exodus and deliverance from Egypt with the Firstfruits? If HaShem reveals the end from the beginning then what does this mean for us, here and now today at the end? Let’s keep exploring.

HaShem commands in Devarim (Deuteronomy) 26:1-5 says “It will be when you enter the Land that HaShem, your Elohim, gives you as an inheritance, and you possess it, and dwell in it, that you shall take the first of every fruit of the ground that you bring in from your Land that HaShem, your Elohim, gives you, and you shall put it in a basket and go to the place that HaShem, your Elohim, will choose to make His Name rest there. You shall come to whoever will be the Kohen in those days, and you shall say to him, ‘I declare today to HaShem, your Elohim, that I have come to the Land that HaShem swore to our forefathers to give us.’ The Kohen shall take the basket from your hand, and lay it before the Altar of HaShem, your Elohim.”

Okay, so we now see HaShem is setting up the principles of His Kingdom via His Torah with the setting apart not just the firstborn sons and kosher animals, but also the agriculture of the field from the Land of Israel!

Then HaShem says in verses 5-10 “Then you shall call out and say before HaShem, your Elohim, ‘An Aramean tried to destroy my forefather (Laban who tried to deceive Ya’akov). He descended to Egypt and sojourned there, few in number, and there he became a nation, great, strong and numerous. The Egyptians mistreated us and afflicted us, and placed hard work upon us. Then we cried out to HaShem, the Elohim of our forefathers, and HaShem heard our voice and saw our affliction, our travail, and our oppression. HaShem took us out of Egypt with a strong hand and with an outstretched arm, with great awesomeness, and with signs and with wonders. He brought us to this place, and He gave us this Land, a Land flowing with milk and honey. And now, behold! I have brought the first fruit of the ground that You have given me, O HaShem!’ And you shall lay it before HaShem, your Elohim, and you shall prostrate yourself before HaShem, your Elohim.”

Can you again see the connection to bringing the Bikkurim to the Temple and the Exodus from Egyptian bondage? I will say it for the umpteenth time….If He reveals the end from the beginning, then what does this mean today at the end?

Why do we bring our Bikkurim to the Temple? Devarim 26:11 says “You shall rejoice with all the goodness that HaShem, your Elohim, has given you and your household, you and the Levite and the proselyte who is in your midst.” So we do this to rejoice in what HaShem has blessed us with!!

So what Bikkurim are considered acceptable for bringing to the Temple of HaShem in Jerusalem? Remember the Bikkurim have to be free of blemishes, no defects and must literally be the best of the crop is what is set apart to HaShem. This said, is any ole produce acceptable, whatever we decide? Actually, HaShem tells us what is acceptable and there are seven species of agriculture that are acceptable per Devarim 8:8:

  • Wheat
  • Barley
  • Grape
  • Fig
  • Pomegranate
  • Oil Olives
  • Date Honey

Of the animals, only the kosher animals are acceptable i.e.:

  • Cows
  • Sheep
  • Goats

When where the Bikkurim brought to the Temple of HaShem? They began bringing them on Shavuot (Erroneously known as Pentecost) per Shemot (Exodus) 23:16 in what is also known as ‘The Feast of Harvest’ as well as the ‘Feast of In-gathering’ which is another name for the Feast of Sukkot. They could continue to bring their Bikkurim through Chanukah which is very significant in itself which we will discuss shortly!

How did they bring the Bikkurim to the Temple of HaShem?

Tractate Bikkurim in the Mishnah is very clear that the time for bringing the Bikkurim into Jerusalem was a GIGANTIC celebration and rejoicing! One commentator said that a person has not observed true rejoicing and celebrating in their lives until they witness the Bikkurim celebration at Shavuot!!!

Chapter 3.2 from Tractate Bikkurim in the Mishnah says “How do we bring the bikkurim up to the Beit HaMikdash (Temple)? All the people of the cities in the maamad (Delegation of Israelis officials which correspond to one of the 24 weekly shifts of the Kohanim serving in the Temple) gather in the city of the maamad. They stay overnight in the town square and they would not enter the houses. And in the morning, the appointee would say ‘Let us rise and ascend to Zion, to the House of HaShem our Elohim’ quoting Jeremiah 31:5.”

Chapter 3.3 says “The near ones bring fresh figs and grapes, while the far ones bring dried figs and raisins. And the ox walks ahead of them, and his horns are overlaid with gold, and a wreath of olive branches is on his head. The flute plays before them, until they reach close to Jerusalem. When they reach close to Jerusalem, they sent messengers ahead of them, and they adorned their bikkurim. The princes, the leaders, and the treasurers go out to greet them according to the honor of those entering they would go out to greet them. And all the craftsmen of Jerusalem stand up before them and inquire into their welfare: ‘Our brethren, the people of such and such a place, have you arrived in peace?'”

Chapter 3.4 says “The flute plays ahead of them until they reach the Temple Mount. When they reach the Temple Mount, even King Agrippas takes the basket on his shoulder and enters, until he reaches the Temple Courtyard. When he reaches the Courtyard, the Levi’im break out in song: ‘I will exalt You, O HaShem, for You have uplifted me and You have not let my enemies rejoice over me. HaShem, my Elohim, I cried out to You and You healed me. HaShem, You have raised up my soul from the Lower World, You have preserved me lest I descend into the Pit. Sing to HaShem, His devoted ones, and give thanks to His holy Name. For His anger endures but a moment; life results from his pleasure; in the evening one lies down weeping, but with dawn, a cry of joy! I had said in my serenity, ‘I would never falter.’ But HaShem, it was Your good will alone that supported my greatness with might. You but conceal Your face, I would be terrified. To You, HaShem I would call and to my Master I would appeal. What gain is there in my death, in my descent to the Pit? Will the dust acknowledge You? Will it tell of Your Truth (Torah)? Hear, HaShem, and favor me HaShem, be my helper! You have changed for me my lament into dancing, You undid my sackcloth and girded me with joy. So that my soul might sing to You and not be stilled, HaShem, my Elohim, forever will I thank You.'” Quoting Psalms 30.

It should be noted that each day of the week there is a daily Psalm which was and is recited. During the time of bringing in the Bikkurim the sing Psalms 30, which is listed above, but also during Chanukah, the daily Psalm which is read during these eight days is also Psalms 30! Coincidence? Not a chance!

Chapter 3.5 says “The young birds which were on the baskets were Olah (Burnt) Offerings, and that which was in their hands, they gave to the Kohanim.”

Chapter 3.6 says “While the basket is still on his shoulders, he reads from ‘I have declared today to HaShem your Elohim’ (The declaration we discussed above from Devarim 26) until he finishes the whole section. When he reaches ‘An Aramean planned to destroy my father’ he lowers the basket from his shoulder and holds it from its rim, and a Kohen places his hand under it and waves it before HaShem. And he reads from ‘An Aramean planned to destroy my father’ until he finishes the whole section. And he places it on the side of the Altar, and he bows and he leaves.”

Can you see there is a set protocol for how and when to bring the Bikkurim to HaShem in His Temple in Jerusalem? As I have said before, the Torah is the constitution per se for the system of government in the Kingdom of HaShem and at some point, hopefully very soon, the entire world will be living under the Torah with Yeshua leading from the rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem! I digress…got ahead of myself a bit.

Now remember, HaShem is teaching us a concept here with the Bikkurim such as kedusha (Holiness), being set apart to Him, don’t be like the world, etc, for He commands we as His people are to be kadosh (Holy) as He is kadosh per Vayikra (Leviticus) 19:2/20:7/20:26/26:8 and I Kepha (Peter) 1:16, etc.

So how does all of this tie in with Yeshua? First we must remember that in the end, Yeshua will be both King and Kohen HaGadol (High Priest) in the order of Melchizedek and will serve in the rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem per Ezekiel chapters 40-48! Very important to remember this because Yeshua is NOT a Levite, so how can He be Kohen HaGadol if that is reserved only for Levi? The answer is below!

Tractate Bechoros in the Talmud Bavli says “The unique esteem in which firstborns were held is evident not only from the fact that their destruction was the final blow that shattered Egyptian resistance to the emancipation of the Israelites. Long before this, from the times of Adam, it had been the practice to assign the performance of the avodah (Sacrificial Service) to the firstborns per Bereshit (Genesis) 25:31. This remained the practice of the Jews until the Mishkan (Tabernacle) was erected in the Wilderness. At that time, the firstborns were superseded in the avodah by the Kohanim and Levi’im, the only group that had not participated in the sin of the Golden Calf.”

WOW…do see how significant this is in relation to Yeshua? Yeshua is constantly prophesied to be the King and Kohen HaGadol (High Priest) in the order of Melchizedek. Yeshua is NOT a Levite therefore He technically cannot serve as Kohen HaGadol in the earthly Temple because that is only reserved for Levi, because Levi didn’t bow to the Golden Calf incident! If the Priesthood was originally relegated to the firstborn sons, beginning from Adam on down, and Yeshua is called the Last Adam (I Corinthians 15:45), and Adam functioned as both King and Kohen unto HaShem in the first Temple i.e. the Garden of Eden, then this is why Yeshua can be both King and Kohen unto HaShem in the end because He reveals the end from the beginning! Yeshua isn’t setting up some new Kohanim order, He is simply performing the avodah as the Firstborn of HaShem as originally intended by HaShem!! In other words Yeshua is RESTORING what was lost, NOT ushering in something brand new as Christendom in its Replacement Theology claims! Nothing changes, nothing new under the sun and He reveals the end out of the beginning!! Very exciting to understand this, Baruch HaShem!

Now it makes MUCH more sense when we read in the Apostolic Writings in I Corinthians 15:20-23 which says “But now Messiah has been raised from the dead, and has become the FIRST FRUITS of those having fallen asleep. For since death is through a man (Adam), resurrection of the dead is also through a Man (Yeshua – The Last Adam). For as all die in Adam, so also all shall be made alive in Messiah. And each in his own order: Messiah the FIRST FRUITS, THEN those who are of Messiah at His coming.”

Very interesting because Yeshua suffered as Messiah Ben Yosef i.e. the Suffering Messiah on behalf of Israel in order to redeem and restore Israel and as the First Fruits is raised up by HaShem on the Feast of First Fruits, three days after His death on Pesach, no coincidence by the way, He is the first of humanity to be raised from the grave into eternal life, serving HaShem for eternity free from the sin nature we all are born with!

Further evidence is found in Yochanan (John) 20:15 says “Yeshua said to her (Miryam), ‘Woman, why do you weep? Whom do you seek?’ Thinking He was the gardener, she said to Him, ‘Master, if You have carried Him away, say to me where You put Him, and I shall take Him away.'” Why is this significant? Because Miryam thought she was talking to the gardener. Why did she think this? Because Yeshua was wearing His all white, Priestly garments, which are worn when approaching the Most Holy Place. How do we know this?

Yochanan (John) 20:17 says “Yeshua said to her, ‘Do not hold onto Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father. But go to My brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My Elohim and your Elohim.'” When the Kohen HaGadol is set apart for approaching HaShem in the Most Holy Place, he is separated out and cannot be contaminated by anything, even a human touch could contaminate him and prevent his approaching HaShem! Here Yeshua tells Miryam NOT to touch Him for just this very reason while He is wearing His all white Priestly garments!! He is the FIRST FRUITS as confirmed in Colossians 1:15 which says “Who (Yeshua) is the likeness of the invisible Elohim, the FIRST BORN of all creation.”

Now consider Revelation 14:1-4 which says “And I looked and saw a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him 144,000, having His Father’s Name written upon their foreheads. And I heard a voice out of the heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of loud thunder, and I heard the sound of harpists playing their harps. And they sang a renewed song before the throne, and before the four living creatures, and the elders. And no one was able to learn the song except the 144,000 who were redeemed from the earth. They are those who are not defiled with women, for they are maiden. They are those following the Lamb wherever He leads them on. They were redeemed from among men, being the FIRST FRUITS to Elohim and to the Lamb.” Now does this make a little more sense when we read this? And how are they the First Fruits of HaShem?

Ya’akov (James) 1:18 tells us “Having purposed it, He brought us forth by the Word of Truth (Torah), for us to be a kind of FIRST FRUITS of His creatures.” Point is, once more, He tells us the only way to be set apart to Him as His people is by doing the Torah! Remember this is NOT talking about salvation…this is talking about walking in service to HaShem in our daily lives. Yeshua walked out the Torah perfectly and we are to emulate Him as He currently serves HaShem in the Heavenly Temple on our behalf as our Kohen HaGadol in the order of Melchizedek!

Its ALL about being the FIRST FRUITS i.e. kadosh unto HaShem!! This is why we need the Temple in Jerusalem to be rebuilt soon in our days…may it be VERY VERY soon!!

TESHUVAH – RETURN AND MAKE OURSELVES READY FOR WE DO NOT KNOW WHEN THE MASTER WILL ARRIVE!

“Elohim is for us refuge and strength, a very accessible help in distress, so we shall not be afraid at earth’s transformation, and at mountains collapse in the heart of the sea.” Psalms 46:1-3

In the midst of a world which has gone utterly mad and has embraced every form of rebellion and wickedness imaginable, Baruch HaShem! He has made a way for us to make teshuvah (Repentance) and to return to Him! The Hebrew word ‘Teshuvah’ means just that…to return to HaShem and His Torah i.e. the biblical definition of repentance.

One of the functions of the Temple of HaShem in Jerusalem other than to facilitate approaching and drawing near to HaShem, is to teach us very important lessons and concepts with which we are to apply to our every day lives as it pertains to kedusha (Holiness). HaShem commissioned the Kohanim (Priests) who officiated the daily Temple Services to teach Israel (HaShem’s people comprised of everyone who has chosen to follow Him) the difference between the kadosh (Holy) and the profane! Vayikra (Leviticus) 10:8-11 says “HaShem spoke to Aaron saying: ‘Do not drink intoxicating wine, you and your sons with you, when you come to the Tent of Meeting, that you not die, this is an eternal decree for your generations. In order to distinguish between the sacred and the profane, and between the contaminated and the pure, and to teach the Children of Israel all the decrees that HaShem had spoken to them through Moshe.'”

Yechezkel (Ezekiel) 44:23 says “They (Kohanim/Priests) are to instruct My people concerning the differences between holy and profane and ordinary. Let them inform them of the difference between contaminated and clean.” The best definition of what kedusha is, is encapsulated in the following statement from my teacher Joseph Good who explained it by the following: “The time, space and objects that are limited to us through the agency of kedusha (Holiness) are signs that as HaShem’s covenantal partners, we must relinquish some control in every sphere of our existence and reserve those elements for His service!”

This means that yes we are to know what He considers to be kadosh (Holy) and what will contaminate us both physically and ritually and yes this includes knowing what foods are clean and what are not. We have to remember that when approaching HaShem the closer one draws to Him, the higher the level of kedusha is required!

Tractate Keilim from the Mishnah explains this very well when it says in 1:6 “There are TEN levels of holiness: #10 – Eretz Yisrael (Land of Israel) is holier than all other lands. And what constitutes its holiness? That we bring from it the omer (Grain from the new crop may not be eaten until the omer has been brought to the Altar in the Temple on the second day of Pesach per Lev 2:14-16), bikkurim (Offering of the first new fruits to ripen as the Torah commands the first ripe produce of the seven species for which Eretz Yisrael is famed must be brought to the Temple and given to the Kohanim per Deut 26:1-15), and the two loaves (On Shavuot a special offering was brought in the Temple. These were made of flour from the year’s new crop of wheat per Lev 23:16-17).”

“#9 – Walled cities are holier than Eretz Yisrael, in that metzoraim (One who has contracted leprosy) are sent out of them, and a corpse may be carried about within these cities until they desire, but once it is taken out, it may not be brought back.”

“#8 – Within the walls is holier than walled cities in that we may eat kodashim kalim (Offerings of lesser holiness) and maaser sheni (Second tithes per Deut 12:6) there.”

“#7 – The Temple Mount is holier than within walled cities in that zavim, zavos, niddos and women who have given birth (These are all issues concerning the shedding of blood) are not permitted to enter there.” They are forbidden from entering the Temple Mount again because of the level of kedusha required, however, they can enter after they have completed the purification process HaShem states in His Torah to include bringing the appropriate animal and grain offerings, immersing in a mikveh, etc.

“#6 – The Cheil (An area directly adjacent to the Temple and its courtyards. It extended outward ten amos from the Temple walls and was surrounded by the Soreg i.e. a wooden latticework fence ten handbreadths high), in that non-Jews and people contaminated with corpse impurity are not permitted to enter there.”

“#5 – The Women’s Courtyard is holier than the Cheil in that a tevul yom (Someone who has gone through the purification process required by HaShem but must wait until sundown for it to be complete) is not permitted to enter there, but they are not obligated to bring a chatat (Sin) offering for entering it.”

“#4 – The Israelite’s Courtyard is holier than the Women’s Courtyard in that a mechussar kippurim (Someone who has undergone the purification process but has yet to bring the required animal korbonot), is not permitted to enter there, and they are obligated to bring a chatat (Sin) offering for entering it.”

“#3 – The Kohanim’s Courtyard is holier than the Israelite’s Courtyard in that Israelites are not permitted to enter there except when they are needed, for leaning, for slaughtering and for waving.”

“#2 – Between the Ulam and the Altar is holier than the Kohanim’s Courtyard in that Kohanim with blemishes or untrimmed hair may not enter there.”

“#1 – The Heichal (Holy Place where the Showbread sits and the Golden Altar of Incense sits before the Perochat i.e. one of the four veils) is holier than between the Ulam and the Altar in that one whose hands and feet are unwashed may not enter there. Those with blemishes or whose who have drunk wine or with unwashed hands and feet may not enter.”

“Most Holy Place is holier than all of them in that NO one may enter there except the Kohen HaGadol (High Priest) on Yom Kippur at the time of the service.”

With these ten areas describing the concept of kedusha as in being set apart for use and service unto HaShem, grows ever greater the closer one approaches the Most Holy Place! How many times do we read where Yeshua barged into the Most Holy Place in the Temple? Not one time!! How many times do we see where Yeshua went into areas of the Temple He was not allowed too? Not one time! Point is even He knew He had zero authority to do so and respected what HaShem had established!

With this said, let me reiterate Moshe = Torah is the means with which to serve HaShem and the Temple of HaShem in Jerusalem is the fullest display of His Torah in action! Drawing near to HaShem i.e. bringing korbonot (Offerings) is the means to make restitution to HaShem when failing Him as well as to thank Him for His abundant mercy, compassion, grace and forgiveness when it is so completely undeserved!

Keep this all mind as we proceed but first always remember the following:

The concept of making oneself ready is an interesting study in itself, but we see this concept on display in the Temple of HaShem and I will explain.

From Tractate Tamid in the Mishnah it says in 1.3 “Whoever wanted to pick up from the altar got up early and immersed himself BEFORE the official arrived. And at what time did the official come? Not all occasions were the same; sometimes he came at cock’s crow, or thereabouts, earlier or later. The official came and knocked for them, and they opened for him. He said to them: ‘Whoever has immersed himself should come and draw lots.’ They drew lots; whoever won, won.”

What does this all mean? One of the most sought after duties the Kohanim wanted each day in the Temple was the picking up of the ashes from the previous days offerings from the Altar for they represented the forgiven sins and mercies of HaShem! So each day, the Kohanim who wanted to potential be selected by HaShem to perform those duties would get up extra early and prepare themselves by going to the mikveh for the ritual immersion and to put on their garments to make themselves ready because they did not know when the official would arrive…hint…hint…hint.

What is the reference to the Cock’s Crow above because Yeshua also refers to the Cock’s Crow when addressing Kepha (Peter) when denying Yeshua three times? Despite what Christendom has taught with regards to a literal chicken crowing, the ‘Cock’s Crow’ was an idiom to mean the ‘Gevini’ or ‘The man/announcer who called out just before dawn ‘Rise up Kohanim for the avodah (Service)!'” This person would stand at the highest point in the Temple and cry out!

Tractate Shekalim 5:1 describes the Gevini further “Givini was responsible for announcing each morning: ‘Kohanim arise to your service and levi’im to your stands and Israel to your place!’ and on hearing his voice they would arise and come, each to his own task.”

So again, these Kohanim sleeping at night in Beit HaMoked, if they wanted to make themselves ready, had to get up early, immerse in the mikveh, put on their garments and then eagerly await the arrival of the official who would open the door. Sometimes the official showed up before the Givini cried out and other times the official would come after, the Kohanim just didn’t know and had to be ready nonetheless. Can you see the concept I believe HaShem is trying to drive home for each of us?

Each of us has to decide to make ourselves ready or not and that will require each of us to study, learn, apply what we are learning to our lives and then actually do what He is teaching us and in doing so we will learn the differences between the holy and the profane and learn to separate ourselves from the things that contaminate us in this life. How much more important is this concept today in the current world we live in with all the utter depravity that is consuming our society? If we are going to survive what’s coming, this is the only way we will be able to do so.

Now, let me clarify…am I saying we need to literally get up, go immerse and await the Givini to cry out? No, as that is not possible as there is no Temple in Jerusalem today…I am simply applying the concepts and seeing what HaShem is trying to teach us from them.

One final thought – There is a very interesting prophecy HaShem gives in Zechariah 8:23 in which He says “Thus said HaShem, Master of Legions: In those days (The very end of days) it will happen that ten men of all the different languages of the nations (Non-Jews) will take hold, they will take hold of the corner of the garments (Tallit) of a Jewish man, saying, ‘Let us go with you, for we have heard that HaShem is with you!'” How many times is this happening today? How many people has HaShem called who are leaving the systems of religion and running to Jewish rabbis and saying “Teach us, for now we know HaShem is with you and He was not in the systems of religion we came from!” It is happening more and more each and every day! It is literal prophecy coming to pass right before our very eyes! Baruch HaShem!

Much to consider in these troubled and very dark times we live in, but Yeshua did tell us that when we BEGIN to see these things come to pass, then to look up, lift up our heads and rejoice, for our redemption is at hand! May it be so VERY, VERY soon in our days!

RECOGNIZING THE LIES OF THE FALSE MESSIAH!

“I hate falsehood and I abhor it, but Your Torah I love. Seven times a day I praise You for Your righteous judgments. There is abundant peace for the lovers of Your Torah, and there is no stumbling block for them.” Psalms 119:163-165

There is so much debauchery and deception in our world today that it is almost overwhelming! As I have stated many times before, right is now wrong and wrong is now right. Light is becoming dark and dark is growing even darker all under the weight of humanities collective sin, debauchery, rebellion and selfish perversions. Things twenty years ago which would have seem unthinkable are now openly celebrated and embraced while those who reject them are labeled as bigots and intolerant and many shout that they should be shunned from society as a whole.

What is the reason for this descent into darkness and madness? I have heard many say it is the sign the False Messiah is about to appear, and while I would somewhat agree with that statement, there is much more to the False Messiah and his doctrine that has been largely ignored over the centuries, going back to before the time of Yeshua.

The key issues to hold onto when examining what HaShem’s Word says regarding the False Messiah is the following four scriptural facts about HaShem: He never changes, He does nothing without first revealing it to His prophets, there is nothing new under the sun and He reveals the end out of the beginning. Examining these four facts WILL instantly expose the doctrine of the False Messiah which is permeating and consuming the world today!

We must remember when reading the Apostolic Writings that there is absolutely nothing new in these writings!! This means EVERYTHING in the Apostolic Writings MUST be supported in the Tanakh (Old Testament) or it is not accurate! Why is this so important? Because at the time of Yeshua and the time of Shaul’s (Paul’s) letters, there was no Apostolic Writings…everything was Judaism centered and focused on the Tanakh and especially the Torah. Further, the Apostolic Writings were not written to English speaking Americans! They were written to Torah keeping, Temple observing, Judaism centered Israel! It is vitally important to remember this as we proceed!

Before we can jump into this subject, always remember the following:

– He says those who hate His Torah love death per Proverbs 8:36

Hollywood and authors have produced enormous amounts of movies and books discussing this person we know to be the False Messiah. Christendom refers to him as being the ‘Anti-Christ.’ Many of these products show this person to be heavily connected to the number ‘666’ and thus many times showcase a person who is outright evil, with a ‘666’ tattooed to his forehead. In reality, the False Messiah is NOT out in the open like this for if he was even the drunk guy at the bar would know to stay away from such a figure.

The False Messiah and his characteristics in biblical references is shown throughout His Word from beginning to end through countless figures, such as Pharaoh of Egypt, Esau, King Herod, Antiochus Epiphanies, etc. But, the best reference is found in 2 Thessalonians 2 when Shaul (Paul) teaches the following about this man: “Let no one deceive you in any way, because the falling away is to come first, and the man of lawlessness is to be revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called Elohim or that is worshiped, so that he sits as Elohim in the Dwelling Place of Elohim (Temple of HaShem), showing himself he is Elohim.”

There is SO much to explore in these verses above from 2 Thessalonians 2! We will quickly go over the highlights as we have much to discuss. The falling away Shaul references has always been interpreted to mean the ‘Rapture’ Christendom teaches, however, this is incorrect. The falling away here is the falling away of the people from the Torah of HaShem and embracing and the mixing of paganism and idolatry into the service of HaShem! Point is, this event has occurred a VERY long time ago and we see the effects of it today in modern Christendom and sects of Judaism. So its the falling away which reveals the False Messiah AKA the Man of Lawlessness. So has this man been revealed? Yes he has for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear. I digress.

This term Shaul uses i.e. ‘Lawlessness’ is not referencing running stop lights and shoplifting at the mall type of lawlessness, but a much more destructive and sinister form of lawlessness which is encapsulated in the word itself: ‘Lawlessness’ i.e. Anomia in Greek which means ‘Without the Torah of HaShem!’ Interesting so the False Messiah is all about a doctrine devoid of the Torah! Hmmmm…

Further, Shaul says that this person exalts himself to being equal to HaShem and then sits as HaShem in the Dwelling Place of HaShem and declares himself to be HaShem. Is there a figure head which humanity has acknowledged, accepted and embraced as being equal to HaShem or HaShem in the flesh? Yes there is, which we will address shortly. I digress.

I have a very good book titled ‘The Messiah Texts’ by Raphael Patai and its an outstanding book as the author has compiled all the references from ancient Judaism concerning how they interpreted Scripture and how they understood the aspects of the Messiah and the False Messiah. Remember its how Judaism understood and interpreted the concepts of the Messiah that matters, not what we today in America think.

In this book, the author speaks of ancient texts of Judaism which reference a character named ‘Armilus’. It is this Armilus that is understood to be another name for the end of days False Messiah but that this character has been around for a very long time teaching a doctrine of lawlessness. In the Midrash it speaks of this Armilus and how this Armilus will slay Messiah ben Yosef (Messiah Son of Joseph i.e. the Suffering Messiah) and then later it is Messiah ben David (Messiah son of David i.e. The Conquering and Reigning for eternity King) who will ultimately slay Armilus and save Israel from him.

For the record, the Midrash is not to be interpreted literally…the Midrash is conveying concepts and is teaching us through pictures. This said, the Midrash references this person and says “Satan will descend and go to Rome to the stone statue (These texts speak of a stone statue of a young woman which is erected in Rome) and have connections with it in the manner of the sexual act, and the stone will become pregnant and give birth to Armilus…” The point is, ancient Judaism understood the end of days False Messiah i.e. Armilus will come out of Edom/Esau or otherwise known as Rome/Christendom. Remember the False Messiah is to arise on the world stage from Europe as he seeks to restore the Roman empire.

Its interesting because Shaul tells us the “Mystery of lawlessness is already at work” in his day and time in 2 Thessalonians 2:7! Again supports the fact there is nothing new under the sun!

What needs to be reinforced is this figure i.e. Armilus/False Messiah, will teach the Word of HaShem, but he will insert concepts and remove edicts which means he is ALL about CHANGE! He changes what HaShem has established from the beginning!

Daniel 7:25 is very clear in describing this person: “And he (Armilus/False Messiah) will speak words against the Supreme One, and he will exhaust the high holy ones, and he will plan to CHANGE the seasons and the Torah….” The word for ‘Seasons’ here is the Hebrew word ‘Moedim’ which means the annual Feasts of HaShem! Further, he changes the Torah of HaShem i.e. teaches a doctrine the Torah is no longer relevant, is obsolete for the true believer. He speaks words against HaShem such as words meant to entice people to adopt idolatry, not like bowing down to an idol of Buddha, but doing exactly what happened with the Golden Calf incident just after Israel was rescued from Egyptian bondage……..they took what they learned in pagan Egypt i.e. the image of cow and attributed it to representing HaShem, which is something HaShem absolutely forbids. It cost Israel dearly for this event!

Armilus/False Messiah’s doctrine can be summed up with one word…”CHANGE!” He changes what HaShem has established from the beginning as I said above. How many times have I heard Christian pastors say “The Law had its time and place and now because of Jesus we are free from the bondage of the Law, all we have to do now is just believe!” Or some have said “The Law was something the Father never wanted! It was given to teach Israel they needed a Redeemer, sadly they chose the Law over the Redeemer, so no G-d has established the Church to replace Israel as His chosen people.” Is there any truth to any of these two statements? None whatsoever!

HaShem established in Devarim (Deuteronomy 13) what I like to call the “Deuteronomy 13 Test!” Here He says “If there should stand up in your midst a prophet or a dreamer of a dream, and he will produce to you a sign or a wonder, and the sign or the wonder comes about, of which he spoke to you, saying, ‘Let us follow gods of others that you did not know and we shall worship them!’ Do not hearken to the words of that prophet or to that dreamer of a dream, for HaShem, your Elohim, is testing you to know whether you love HaShem, your Elohim, with all your heart and with all your soul. HaShem, your Elohim, shall you follow and Him shall you fear; His commandments shall you observe and to His voice shall you hearken; Him shall you serve and to Him shall you cleave. And that prophet and that dreamer of a dream shall be put to death, for he had spoken perversion against HaShem, your Elohim, Who takes you out of the land of Egypt, and Who redeems you from the house of slavery, to make you stray from the path on which HaShem, your Elohim, has commanded you to go; and you shall destroy the evil from your midst.”

Very interesting! So if someone shows up and says they have a message from HaShem and then performs some sort of sign or a wonder and their message is one which is devoid of HaShem or His Torah, then it is a message of deception and idolatry! I can think of several people I have observed and listened too on television over the years who claimed to be either be prophets of HaShem or claim to have been given a word from HaShem and now, when comparing their messages to Devarim 13, they are fully and completely exposed as being frauds and not to be listened too!

So with all this established thus far, how do we know what is or isn’t from HaShem? In a nut shell, the Torah is the key! HaShem says His Torah is the ONLY truth there is per Psalms 119:142, therefore, if the message doesn’t fit within the Torah of HaShem, THEN the message and the messenger is exposed as being false. When you read in the Word of HaShem this word ‘Truth’ insert the word ‘Torah’ in its place because that is how serious HaShem is about this topic!

Yehoshua (Joshua) 24:14-15 says “And now, fear HaShem and serve Him with perfection and truth (Torah); remove the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the river and in Egypt, and serve HaShem. If it is evil in your eyes to serve HaShem, choose this day whom you will serve, the gods your forefathers served, who were across the Jordan or the gods of the Emorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my household, we will serve HaShem!”

Consider what Yochanan (John) says in 3:21 “But the one DOING the Truth (Torah) comes to the light, so that his works are clearly seen, that they have been wrought in Elohim.”

Here is the crux of what happens to people who willfully, knowingly reject the Torah of HaShem in relation to the doctrine of Armilus/False Messiah which is referenced in 2 Thessalonians 2:9-11 which says “The coming of the Lawless one (Armilus/False Messiah/The One Without the Torah of HaShem) is according to the working of Satan, with all power and signs and wonders of falsehood, and with all deceit of unrighteousness in those perishing, because THEY DID NOT RECEIVE THE LOVE OF THE TRUTH (TORAH), IN ORDER FOR THEM TO BE SAVED. And for this reason HaShem sends them a working of delusion, for them to believe the falsehood, in order that all should be judged who did not believe the truth (Torah), but have delighted in the unrighteousness.”

WOW! So HaShem gives each and every person the opportunity to know the truth, but those who willfully and knowingly reject it He then sends them a working of delusion so they will fall to the lies of Armilus! This is chillingly serious!

Consider what Yeshua Himself says about the End of Days at His return: Yeshua tells us in Mattithyahu (Matthew) 7:21-23 says “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Master, Master’ shall enter into the reign (Kingdom) of the heavens, but he who is DOING THE DESIRE of My Father in the heavens. Many shall say to Me in that day (Reference to very end), ‘Master, Master, have we not prophesied in Your Name, and cast out demons in Your Name, and done many mighty works in Your Name?’ And then I shall declare to them, ‘I never knew you, depart from Me, you who work lawlessness!'”

These are VERY strong words spoken by Yeshua for they clearly show several things which destroys the doctrine of Armilus/False Messiah: Yeshua is subservient to HaShem and is NOT HaShem nor equal to HaShem! He shows in order to enter into the Kingdom of HaShem one must be DOING the will of the Father and what is the will of HaShem? Ecclesiastes 12:13 says “The sum of the matter, when all has been considered: Fear HaShem and keep His commandments, for that is man’s whole duty.”

Then He clearly shows there will be those who have sought Him and did many miracles and wonders in His Name and yet Yeshua declares not only He doesn’t know them but they are to depart from Him! So what has happened? These people whom He rejects have embraced the doctrine of Armilus/False Messiah! Did they know they did so? They will at that moment recognize they chose wrongly because HaShem gives every single person the opportunity in His great mercy and compassion and because of His perfect justice “They have a form of godliness but deny the power (Deny the Torah)” per 2 Timothy 3:5.

In conclusion am I saying it is the Torah which saves and redeems us? Emphatically NO! It is HaShem Who is our Redeemer and Savior, Who sent His Agent, His Mighty Right Arm, Yeshua, to redeem and save Israel out of His love and compassion. Then He gives us His Torah to know Him, to have that relationship with Him, to serve Him out of love devotion and loyalty and to walk in His ways pleasing unto Him. Point is, without the Torah, there is no way to know Him which is precisely why Armilus/False Messiah teaches a Lawless doctrine, in order to separate people from HaShem!

With all the Op’s I have posted on my channel thus far, can you begin to see there are gigantic and vast differences between the Yeshua of Scriptures and the ‘Jesus Christ’ that Replacement Theology presents? Yeshua points to HaShem while Replacement Theology Jesus points to himself. Yeshua teaches the way to love and serve HaShem is through the Torah. Replacement Theology Jesus teaches against the Torah. Yeshua will come and will build Ezekiel’s Temple and offer up sacrifices to HaShem. Replacement Theology Jesus teaches against the Temple of HaShem, calling it an abomination. Yeshua is from Israel while Replacement Theology Jesus is from Rome, on and on the differences could be listed out. So, per the Word of HaShem, which one is the False Messiah who changes what HaShem established that He warns us about? I will let you decide the answer to that question.

Much to consider.

Shalom.

THE TEMPLE, THE TORAH AND WORMWOOD IN REVELATION!

“HaShem, my Strength, my Stronghold, and my Refuge on the day of distress! To You nations will come from the ends of the earth and say: ‘It was all falsehood that our ancestors inherited, futility that has no purpose.'” Jeremiah 16:19

In the End of Days, the times we currently live in, in my opinion, we are seeing a phenomenon occur among people who have a heart for following HaShem. This phenomenon is people are waking up, realizing the doctrines they have inherited from their ancestors were nothing, futility that has no purpose and as such, people are running to HaShem, His Torah, His Feasts, His Shabbat, etc, realizing anything outside of HaShem are nothing but lies! Replacement Theology would be very well defined this way per Jeremiah 16:19!

It is when we obey HaShem’s command as He stated it in Ezekiel 43, to study every aspect of His Temple and every piece of the Temple Services, that we will finally be able to see what He has been communicating throughout His entire Word, from Genesis to Revelation! We will be able to see Him for Who He truly is. We will be able to see the Agent He sent on our behalf i.e. Messiah Yeshua for Who He truly is, what He did on our behalf and by default we will be able to recognize the subtle, smooth, enticing, deceptive words and doctrines of the False Messiah currently operating in the world today disguised as an angel of light!

One of these services which was performed in the Temple, per the Torah, is what is known as the ‘Sotah Test.’ It is the test which is performed by the Sanhedrin to determine if a married woman is guilty of adultery against her husband. If she is guilty, then she will die as a result of this test. If she is innocent, then she will live, but in either case, this test is performed before HaShem and it is He Who renders the judgment. Why is this important in this Op? Because, idolatry, is akin to adultery in the eyes of HaShem and the judgment of ‘Wormwood’ (Means ‘Bitterness’ in Hebrew) in Revelation 8, is in my opinion, HaShem administering the Sotah Test on a global scale…those who are innocent, live and those who are guilty will die…I am getting way ahead of myself here, but this is what I would like to discuss in this Op and see where HaShem leads in this discussion.

This Op will be extra long as we have a ton of information to address in order to tie everything together and answer the questions which will emerge as we progress…please be patient.

But before we can begin, always remember the following:

– HaShem never changes per Num 23:19/Mal 3:6/Hebrews 13:8/James 1:17

We read about a very important event from the Apostolic Writings, specifically in John chapter 8. In this event, Yeshua was sitting down inside the Temple of HaShem on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and is teaching Torah after earlier having gone to the Mount of Olives. Suddenly, a group of scribes and Pharisees bring to Him a woman who had been caught in the act of adultery. Now this is where we have to stop and do some in-depth studying to find out the significance of several key points mentioned in John 8, such as Yeshua sitting in the Temple; the significance of the woman caught in the act of adultery being brought to Yeshua and what is the punishment required, per the Torah of HaShem, for the act of adultery? Answering these and subsequent questions will reveal so much more to this account than what is normally taught.

Bamidbar (Numbers) chapter 5 specifically discusses the circumstances involving a married woman having been caught in the act of adultery and how to legally treat her to ensure justice is carried out as well as how to preserve her honor and dignity if she is found innocent.

Remember, this section discussing an adulteress wife, also applies to the Bride of Messiah i.e. Israel when HaShem compares idolatrous Israel to an unfaithful wife! Point is, it has both literal and prophetic implications in which we need to pay very close attention too because HaShem is still addressing this issue in Revelation 8! Remember He reveals the end OUT of the beginning! I digress!

Bamidbar (Numbers) 5:11-15 says “HaShem spoke to Moshe, saying, ‘Speak to the Children of Israel and say to them: Any man whose wife shall go astray and commit treachery against him; and a man could have lain with her carnally, but was hidden from the eyes of her husband, and she became secluded and could have been defiled, but there was no witness against her and she had not been forced; and a spirit of jealousy had passed over him and he had warned his wife, and she had become defiled, or a spirit of jealousy had passed over him and he had warned his wife and she had not become defiled. The man shall bring his wife to the Kohen (High Priest) and he shall bring her offering for her, a tenth ephah of barley flour; he shall not pour oil over it and shall not put frankincense upon it, for it is a meal offering of jealousies, a meal offering of remembrance, a reminder of iniquity.'”

Very interesting…so in these verses HaShem lays the foundation for how to handle an event in which a married woman goes astray from her husband and the potential for her to have had sexual relations with another man was there, but there are no witnesses against her and she had not been raped. Further, the husband must have warned his wife not to be secluded with a specific man and the warning must have been given in front of at least two witnesses. If the husband becomes jealous of his wife, then the only way to resolve the issue is to bring her before HaShem in the Temple and to meet with the Kohen HaGadol (High Priest) at a specific location in the Temple i.e. the Nicanor Gate which leads from the Court of the Women to the Court of the Israelite’s. It is here the husband will bring a meal offering on her behalf as the Kohen will then have her partake of a specific set of steps laid out by HaShem in the Torah to determine her guilt or innocence.

This is where we have to know and understand not only the Torah, but also the Mishnah/Talmud because they discuss in-depth the justice system of the Kingdom of HaShem and how He has set things up, which is something we need to very quickly discuss.

There are three levels of courts in the Kingdom of HaShem: The Lower Court comprised of three judges. The Lesser Court comprised of 23 judges and then the Sanhedrin Gedolah (Great Court) comprised of 71 judges, which is akin to the US Supreme Court. The Sanhedrin Gedolah is located in Beit Avtinas, otherwise known as the Chamber of Hewn Stewn, in the Temple in Jerusalem. The Kohen HaGadol (High Priest) is the head of the Sanhedrin Gedolah and it is only the Sanhedrin Gedolah which can hear cases which incur the death penalty, such as a murder case or an adultery case. Their primary function is to keep Israel united and render right rulings on how to walk out and perform the Commandments of HaShem! The Mishnah for example, is the recorded right rulings of the Sanhedrin on how to walk in the Commandments of HaShem!

The Courts are only authorized, per HaShem, to meet and hear cases during the day, they are not allowed to meet and hear cases at night. Convictions are only made upon two or more credible witnesses! Judges must sit and hear, they cannot stand. These are very important to remember as we will connect the dots shortly. I digress.

HaShem commands us that whatever the Sanhedrin rules upon, we are required by HaShem to do what they have ruled upon. Refusal to do so is considered to be sin by HaShem! This is found in Devarim (Deuteronomy) 16:18-20 and 17:8-13! This means the Mishnah/Talmud ARE indeed endorsed and supported by HaShem despite what many in Replacement Theology teach. If the Sanhedrin makes a wrong ruling, then HaShem as the Great King, will deal with them and fix it. Think of it like a military hierarchy…the officer is appointed and granted the authority to render rulings per the US President and Constitution. If that officer renders an illegal order, can we still disobey that order or are there provisions in place to address that potential illegal order and it is the senior levels which ultimately deal with the issue? Same concept here…HaShem establishes the courts, appoints the judges and if they make a wrong ruling, He as the Great King fixes the issue. We as the servants of HaShem are not allowed to rebel against what He has established! We see Yeshua Himself obey this even during the events which led to His execution, which we will discuss shortly.

With this established, we can now examine the references from the Torah concerning the Sotah Test itself and what is required:

Bamidbar (Numbers) 5:16-18 says “The Kohen shall bring her near and have her stand before HaShem. The Kohen shall take sacred water (From the Laver) in an earthenware vessel, and the Kohen shall take from the earth that is on the floor of the Tabernacle and put it in the water. The Kohen shall have the woman stand before HaShem and uncover the women’s head, and upon her palms he shall put the meal offering of remembrance, it is a meal offering of jealousies, and in the hand of the Kohen shall the bitter waters (Wormwood) that cause cause.”

An excerpt from Tractate Sotah 1.4 in the Mishnah says “They bring her up to the High Court (Great Sanhedrin) in Jerusalem where they instill fear in her in the manner in which they instill fear in witnesses to capital cases.” In other words, they reinforce the seriousness of the issue and try to get her to confess her sin.

Bamidbar (Numbers) 5:19-20 says “The Kohen shall adjure her and say to the woman, ‘If a man has not lain with you, and you have not strayed in defilement with someone other than your husband, then be proven innocent by these bitter (Wormwood) waters that cause curse. But if you have strayed with someone other than your husband, and if you have become defiled, and a man other than your husband has lain with you!'”

Bamidbar 5:21-22 says “The Kohen shall adjure the woman with the oath of the curse, and the Kohen shall say to the woman, ‘May HaShem render you as a curse and as an oath amid your people, when HaShem causes your thigh to collapse and your stomach to distend. These waters that cause curse shall enter your innards to cause stomach to distend and thigh to collapse!’ And the woman shall respond, ‘Amen, Amen.'”

Bamidbar 5:23-24 says “The Kohen shall inscribe these curses on a scroll and erase it (Scrape the letters) into the bitter (Wormwood) waters. When he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter (Wormwood) waters that cause curse, then the waters that cause curse shall come into her for bitterness.”

It is very interesting thus far because Tractate Sotah in the Mishnah explains this further in 1.1 which says: “One who warned his wife, Rabbi Eliezer says, he must warn her in the presence of two witnesses…Rabbi Yehoshua says he (The husband) must warn her in the presence of two witnesses, and he can give her to drink the bitter waters only on the testimony of two witnesses.”

Did HaShem establish two witnesses against Israel in His Torah? Yes He did! Devarim (Deuteronomy) 4:26 says “I appoint heaven and earth this day to bear witness against you that you will surely perish quickly from the Land to which you are crossing the Jordan to possess; you shall not have lengthy days upon it, for you will be destroyed.” This verse is in response to Israel committing idolatry/adultery and the consequences of what will happen in the future with Israel being exiled from the Land.

Did HaShem specifically warn Israel concerning idolatry/adultery? Yes He did! Devarim (Deuteronomy) 30:15-20 says “See, I have placed before you today the life and the good, and the death and the evil, that which I command you today, to love HaShem, your Elohim, to walk in His ways, to observe His commandments, His decrees, and His ordinances, then you will live and you will multiply, and HaShem, your Elohim, will bless you in the Land to which you come, to possess it. BUT if your heart will stray and you will NOT listen, and you are led astray, and you prostrate yourself to the gods of others serve them, I tell you today that you will surely be lost; you will not lengthen your days upon the Land that you cross the Jordan to come there, to possess it. I call heaven and earth today to bear witness against you: I have placed life and death before you, blessing and curse; and you shall choose life, so that you will live, you and your offspring, to love HaShem, your Elohim, to listen to His voice and cleave to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days, to dwell upon the Land that HaShem swore to your forefathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.”

Can you see how astounding this is thus far? Now consider once more how HaShem reveals the end out of the beginning? Do you recall The Golden Calf incident as it is recorded in Shemot (Exodus) 32? To summarize the incident, Israel has just been delivered from Egyptian bondage and has met with HaShem at Mt. Sinai where Israel agreed to the terms of the covenant i.e. His Torah or otherwise understood as being the ‘Ketubah’ or the Marriage Contract. At this point, Israel has entered into the covenant with HaShem. Moshe, a picture of the Redeemer, is up on Mt. Sinai meeting with HaShem. He ends up being longer on the mountain than Israel expected and what happens? Israel ends up worshiping the image of a beast i.e. the Golden Calf! Hint…hint…hint!!! What then happens when Moshe comes down from the mountain and observes this catastrophe? Moshe commands the golden calf be ground up into dust and sprinkled into their water source and everyone was required to drink it…those who were guilty died i.e. 3,000 died! Those who were innocent lived! Can you see the prophetic picture here? Moving forward.

Bamidbar (Numbers) 5:25-28 says “The Kohen shall take the meal offering of jealousies from the hand of the woman; he shall wave the meal offering before HaShem, and he shall bring it near to the Altar. The Kohen shall scoop up from the meal offering its remembrance and cause it to go up in smoke on the Altar; after which he shall cause the woman to drink the water. He shall cause her to drink the water, and it shall be that if she had become defiled and had committed treachery against her husband, the waters that cause curse shall come into her for bitterness, and her stomach shall be distended and her thigh shall collapse, and the woman shall become a curse amid her people. But if the woman had not become defiled, and she is pure, then she shall be proven innocent and she shall bear seed.”

In other words, the woman will drink the bitter waters and HaShem will then judge her and if she is guilty, then she will die. If she is innocent, then she will live and He will bless her with children. On a quick side note, it is known per the Apostolic Writings, that Miriam, the mother of Yeshua, went to Zechariah in the Temple after she was discovered to be pregnant. There are documents in existence today which show she went to Zechariah to specifically take this Sotah Test in order to prove to Yosef and the community she was innocent…notice after her visit to Zechariah, there is zero issue made of how she became pregnant? I digress.

So with all of this said, does it now make sense Yeshua refused to render a decision concerning the woman caught in the act of adultery in John chapter 8? Replacement Theology teaches the fact Yeshua refused to render a decision was proof He was ushering in a new way of doing things and slowly proving the Torah was soon to be rendered obsolete….utter nonsense!! Yeshua refused to render a decision because He had ZERO authority to render that decision and He knew the men who brought her to Him were setting Him up! If He had rendered a decision, He would have just nullified Himself as being Messiah for having committed the grave sin of encroachment i.e. assuming authority not given by HaShem!! This is precisely why He challenges the men and they drop their stones and flee because they of course knew they were required to bring her to the Great Sanhedrin along with at least two witnesses! This is also precisely why Yeshua tells the woman He didn’t condemn her….even though she was caught in the act and she was guilty. He tells her to go and sin no more, but He was in no way condoning her behavior…He simply didn’t have the authority of the Great Sanhedrin! Does this change the way we should view Messiah Yeshua in contrast to what Replacement Theology teaches? Absolutely YES! Can Yeshua change anything HaShem has established i.e. His Torah, His Shabbat, His Feasts, what He declared to be clean to eat, etc? No, He cannot change one thing! Only the False Messiah is all about change and it is he who teaches a doctrine of lawlessness (Without the Torah), changes the Feasts, changes Shabbat, declares unclean to be clean, etc.

Another example is at Yeshua’s trial! Per the Torah of HaShem only the Great Sanhedrin can hear the witnesses of capital cases i.e. death penalty cases and it can only convene during daylight in the Chamber of Hewn Stone i.e. Beit Avtinas in the Temple on the Temple Mount. We know per John 18 after Yeshua was arrested they took Him to the house of Qayapha, the Kohen HaGadol, which means it was at night and it was NOT in the place the Torah requires…this right here renders His trial null and void and not a legal trial, which is why, in my opinion, Yeshua said nothing in His defense. Only HaShem would vindicate Him and He did…three days later when HaShem brought Yeshua out of the grave! I digress.

I know it may seem I am bouncing all over the place in this Op, but there is a ton to try and encapsulate and tie in with Wormwood in Revelation 8! Please bear with me.

So with all this said, lets now examine Revelation 8:10-11 and see what it says: “And the third messenger sounded (Blowing a shofar), and a great star fell from the heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the fountains of water, and the name of the star is called ‘Wormwood’. And a third of the waters became wormwood (Bitter), and many men died from the waters, because they were made bitter.”

It is very interesting to note this is a star from heaven considering HaShem established heaven and earth as witnesses! Further, this judgment is specifically targeting the waters and turns a third of the waters bitter i.e. Wormwood. Then we see many people will die because of the waters having been made bitter i.e. these people will die because they were found guilty by HaShem of idolatry/adultery!

How can we know what constitutes idolatry/adultery? HaShem has been very clear about this from the beginning…His Torah is the Ketubah (Marriage Contract/Covenant). He then warns us in Devarim (Deuteronomy) 13:2-6 says the following: “If there should stand up in your midst a prophet or a dreamer of a dream, and he will produce to you a sign or a wonder, and the sign or the wonder comes about, of which he spoke to you, saying, ‘Let us follow gods of others that you did not know and we shall worship them!’ Do not hearken to the words of that prophet or to that dreamer of a dream, for HaShem, your Elohim, is testing you to know whether you love HaShem, your Elohim, with all your heart and with all your soul. HaShem, your Elohim, shall you follow and Him shall you fear; His commandments shall you observe and to His voice shall you hearken; Him shall you serve and to Him shall you cleave. And that prophet and that dreamer of a dream shall be put to death; for he had spoken perversion against HaShem, your Elohim, Who takes you out of the land of Egypt, and Who redeems you from the house of slavery, to make you stray from the path on which HaShem, your Elohim, has commanded you to go; and you shall destroy the evil from your midst.”

What does this warning in Devarim 13 teach us? Anyone coming along, even if there are signs and wonders, teaching a Replacement Theology doctrine that the Torah is now done away with, rendered obsolete, irrelevant or that the Shabbat has changed or the Feasts have changed or to follow and worship other gods not HaShem, that person or doctrine is to be utterly and completely rejected!

Remember Yeshua always points to HaShem! Yeshua does NOT replace HaShem, nor is Yeshua equal to HaShem. He is the Right Hand of HaShem, the Agent of HaShem and sits at the right hand of HaShem. Replacement Theology teaches a doctrine which either replaces HaShem or supersedes HaShem, something completely wrong and would be considered to be idolatry/adultery!

Since HaShem is unchanging, then it makes perfect sense He is still administering the Sotah Test in Revelation! We change, He doesn’t and therefore we must conform to His ways and not the other way around. It is very serious and something we all must constantly be examining our selves for. Learning His Torah and His Temple as He commands, is the only way to walk and serve Him in the midst of living in a world which grows in darkness, insanity and debauchery more each and every day! Can we do it perfectly? Sadly no, not yet, but Baruch HaShem He knows that and His mercies are fresh and anew every morning and we have a Kohen HaGadol currently serving on our behalf in the Heavenly Temple interceding on our behalf before our Great King, HaShem!!

This, my opinion, is further evidence of why we need to study the Torah and the Temple because the entire Bible, from Genesis to Revelation references the Torah and the Temple all throughout. Rejecting His Torah and His Temple is what has allowed Replacement Theology to flourish and become as entrenched as it is, but Baruch HaShem, He already knew this and is now dismantling the lies we all have inherited as He reveals them to be completely useless and futile!

Be encouraged! Events are developing quickly in the world and HaShem is opening our hearts and minds to the wonders which He has in His Torah! May it be very soon in our days!

Shalom and much to consider!

LECH LECHA – WAR OF THE KINGS

“Then they cried out to HaShem in their distress; from their woes He saved them.” Psalms 107:13

This weeks Torah portion ‘Lech Lecha’ which is found in B’reisheet (Genesis) 12:1-17-27 is a VERY important portion because in it HaShem sets up the foundation for establishment of His people Israel! Why is this so very important? Because HaShem reveals the end out of the beginning, and as such if we want to know what will happen in the end, we MUST go the beginning because there is nothing new under the sun!

This Torah portion has it all…it has everything from watching Avram move to fighting a brutal and long war followed by the sealing of the covenant between the Great King (HaShem) and Avraham which is still very much in effect today!

This Op is meant to be an overview of Lech Lecha in which we will discuss very important and prophetic events. We will be referencing the Chumash, the Mishnah, the Talmud and the Midrash once more and then compare them to what we read in the Apostolic Writings!!

But before we jump into this, always remember the following for they always apply:

The Hebrew words ‘Lech Lecha’ translate and are encapsulated in the first verse of B’reisheet chapter 12 which says “HaShem said to Avram, ‘Go for yourself from your land, from your relatives, and from your father’s house to the land that I will show you.'”

This is very important because in my opinion HaShem is teaching us an important fact about our relationship with Him in that we have to literally at times change our locations in order to grow in our relationship with Him. In my case, I had to move from one part of the United States to another and only in doing so did He use it to open my eyes to the wonders of His Torah. Is it easy? Not a chance!! Is it worth it? Absolutely! I digress.

We see with Avram, he was not a parent and then HaShem tells him to change locations and when Avram does so, He blesses him and promises ‘To your offspring I will give this land.’ Avram then builds a altar to HaShem and invokes the Name of HaShem by Name.

A severe famine in the land occurred and Avram descended to Egypt to find food. Interesting because we see in the future where Israel ultimately descends into Egypt to find food during a great famine i.e. the time when Yosef was sold into captivity and ultimately became the second in command of Egypt! Then further in the future we see Yeshua descend into the Egypt when Herod was seeking to kill Him as a child. Point is, HaShem has an established pattern!

Eventually Avram went back to the land along with Lot. Because they both had abundant livestock, they then part ways, Avram remained in the land while Lot settled in Sodom and Gomorrah. This obviously sets up the events later on when Sodom and Gomorrah and the five cities of the plain are later destroyed by HaShem.

After they parted ways, HaShem then repeats His promise to Avram: ‘Raise now your eyes and look out from where you are: Northward, southward, eastward and westward. For all the land that you see, to you will I give it, and to your descendants forever. I will make your offspring as the dust of the earth so that if one could count the dust of the earth, then your offspring, too, can be counted. Arise, walk about the land through its length and breadth! For to you will I give it. Can HaShem rescind a decree once He renders it? Not a chance!! Therefore this promise is absolutely 100% valid for us today in 2019! The Land of Israel IS our homeland! Why? Because HaShem promised it would be to Avram and his descendants which includes everyone who chooses to serve HaShem and walk according to His Torah! Point is, this is why we must pay very close attention to what the world wants to do with the Land of Israel such as always trying to divide up the Land, etc! It should seriously raise your blood pressure when we see governments attempt to divide up the Land in the name of ‘Peace!’ It is going directly against HaShem!

With this established now we go to B’reisheet chapter 14 which discusses the heart of this Op i.e. ‘The War of the Kings.’ So now we will discuss these kings which were involved in this war because in doing so we WILL see something very prophetic!

The names of the kings are as follows:

  • Amrafel – King of Shinar
  • Aryoch – King of Ellasar
  • Kedorlaomer – King of Elam
  • Tidal – King of Goiim

These four kings made war on the following kings:

  • Bera – King of Sodom
  • Birsha – King of Gomorrah
  • Shinav – King of Admah
  • Shemever – King of Tzevoiim
  • Bela – King of Tzoar

These five kings listed above are all from the Cities of the Plain i.e. the cities HaShem later destroyed due to their wicked sin, which we briefly discussed in the previous Op.

Verse three says “All these (Five kings listed above) joined at the Valley of Siddim, now the Salt Sea (Dead Sea today in 2019).” Then chapter 14 tells us “Twelve years they served Kedorlaomer and they rebelled thirteen years.” So these five kings, listed above, served Kedorlaomer but then they rebelled against him for thirteen years.

What happened during this time frame? Per chapter 14 it tells us in verse 10 “The Valley of Siddim was full of bitumen (Asphalt) wells. The kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled and fell into them while the rest fled to a mountain.” Then the remaining three kings per verse 11 “Seized all the wealth of Sodom and Gomorrah and all their food and they departed.” Remember what we discussed in the previous Op about Sodom and Gomorrah and their wealth?

Then in verse 12 it lists the reason why Avram joins the war: “And they captured Lot and his possessions, Avram’s nephew, and they left; for he was residing in Sodom.” Apparently, according to the Talmud, “Kedorlaomer went to war mainly to capture Avram. However, he made a mistake and took Lot instead, since Lot looked very much like Avram.”

Avram is then informed of the capture of Lot and then he per verse 14 “And Avram heard that his kinsman was taken captive, he armed his disciples who had been born in his house, 318, and he pursued them as far as Dan. And he and his servants deployed against them at night and struck them; he pursued them as far as Chovah which is to the north of Damascus. He brought back all the possessions; he also brought back his kinsman, Lot, with his possessions, as well as the women and the people.” There is SO much which could be pulled out of this event!!

So Lot is taken captive and taken out of the Land. Avram then rallies 318 of his men, pursues the enemies, destroys them and saves Lot and brings Lot back into the Land! Gee, does this in any way sound prophetic such as Israel is taken captive, exiled into the world and then one day HaShem promises His Agent i.e. Moshiach, will show up to destroy Israel’s enemies once and for all and then bring ALL of Israel back to dwell in the Land!! Notice also the number 318 in that 3 + 1 + 8 = 12 as in the twelve tribes of Israel!!

Then Avram returns from defeating the four kings and meets Malkitzedek, the King of Salem (Jerusalem)! Malkitzedek was a Kohen unto HaShem and also the King of Salem…HINT HINT HINT!! Yeshua is described being both King and Kohen (High Priest) in the order of Malkitzedek in Psalms 110:4 which says “HaShem has sworn and will not relent: ‘You shall be a Kohen forever, in accord with Malchizedek’s word'” Malchizedek is actually two Hebrew words ‘Malchi’ and ‘Zedek’ which mean “King of Righteousness!” Hebrews 5:10 says “Having been designated by Elohim a Kohen Gadol (High Priest) according to the order of Malchizedek.”

So we see Malchizedek is both King and Kohen Gadol, just as Yeshua will eventually be crowned both King and Kohen Gadol and rule from Jerusalem just like Malchizedek ruled!! See how everything is contained in the beginning and there is nothing new under the sun?

HaShem then establishes the covenant with Avram!! He tells Avram to look up into the sky and count the stars if he is able, so shall his offspring be! Verse 6 of chapter 15 says “And he trusted in HaShem, and He reckoned it to him as righteousness.” This verse here in underlined encapsulates our entire walk with HaShem!!! Avram trusted in HaShem and in return HaShem counted his trust/belief/faith as righteousness! Did HaShem tell Avram to first keep the Torah perfectly and then He will reckon it to him as righteousness? How many times have I been accused by many in Christendom today of teaching a works based salvation!!!! This verse, among many, proves this is NOT the case!! First He saves us, THEN we strive to walk out our faith/trust in HaShem by keeping His Torah!! Not vice versa!!

HaShem then instructs Avram “Take to Me three heifers, three goats, three rams, a turtledove and a young dove.” Avram then slaughters them, cuts them up in the center and placed each piece opposite its counterpart, the birds, however, he did not cut up. Then a deep sleep fell upon Avram; and per verse 12 says “Behold, a dread! Great darkness fell upon him.”

Then in verse 13 HaShem said to Avram “Know with certainty that your offspring shall be aliens in a land not their own, and they will serve them, and they will oppress them, four hundred years. But the nation that they will serve, I shall judge, and afterward they will leave with great wealth.” HaShem is referring too the upcoming Egyptian exile and the following Exodus after 400 years in which HaShem destroys Egypt and Israel is led by Moshe!! Which is again a picture of the future Exodus in which Moshiach will deliver all of Israel from the hand of the oppressors and lead all of Israel back into the Land in the very end!! This speaks directly of the defeat of the False Messiah ruling the world during the Seven Year Birth Pangs in the very end of days!!!!

HaShem then ratifies the covenant with Avram in verses 17-19 which says “So it happened: The sun set, and it was very dark. Behold there was a smoky furnace and a torch of fire which passed between the pieces. On that day HaShem made a covenant with Avram, saying, ‘To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt (The Nile) to the great river, the Euphrates River: The Keinites, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites, and the Yevusites.'”

The Jerusalem Talmud tractate Kiddushin 1:8 says regarding the above verses “HaShem promises Avram that he will inherit the lands of ten nations. Throughout history, however, Eretz Yisrael consisted only of the territory of seven of these nations: The Chittites, Perizzites, Rephaim, Amorites, Canaanites, Girgashites and Yevusites. The lands of the remaining three nations, the Keinites, Kenizzites and Kadmonites will be given to Israel when Moshiach comes.”

With this all said thus far, I will ask the question again, can HaShem withdraw a covenant He makes? Not a chance!! So how come Christendom has taught these covenants were all fulfilled and tossed aside and now everything is replaced by a brand new, never before seen covenant which has zero to do with HaShem, His Land, His Torah, His Feasts, His Shabbat and His people? Sorry, I digress again as it is a rhetorical question as we know it is utterly impossible!

So finally we will address the last point which discusses these four kings mentioned above:

  • Amrafel – King of Shinar
  • Aryoch – King of Ellasar
  • Kedorlaomer – King of Elam
  • Tidal – King of Goiim

Who are these guys and what can we derive from them on a prophetic level? The Midrash addresses these four kings: “This man (Amrafel) was called by three names – 1: Cush because he was definitely a Cushite. 2: Nimrod because he initiated rebellion in the world i.e. initiated the idea of intentionally rebelling against HaShem. 3: Amrafel because his sayings were dark because he stated decrees and thereby darkened the world. He convinced the world to rebel against HaShem and enacted decrees to accomplish the same which brought great darkness to the world i.e. the Tower of Babel.” Remember it was Nimrod who cast Avram down into a fiery furnace!! Amrafel is a picture of Babylon.

Aryoch the king of Ellasar the Midrash says “The coins called Issars are named for Ellasar, where they were first minted.” An Issar was a Middle Eastern coin used during the Talmudic period. Point is Ellasar is a picture of Greece.

Chedorlaomer the king of Elam is a picture of Persia-Media

Tidal king of Goiim is a picture of what is called ‘The Evil Kingdom’ which dictates its tyranny from all the nations of the world i.e. Rome!

The Point is, these four kings represent the four kingdoms Israel will have to contend with and be subjugated too throughout our history until the final deliverance and victory by Moshiach Yeshua in the very end!! Babylon, Greece, Persia and Rome (Christendom). WOW! This lines up with the prophecies recorded in Daniel 7!!

Per the prophecies of Daniel 7, he sees four different immense beasts arise from the sea i.e. an idiom to mean from the world:

  • The first like a lion with eagles wings – Babylon
  • The second like a bear – Greece
  • The third like a leopard with four birds wings on its back – Persia
  • The fourth was exceedingly terrifying, the worst empire of them all as this beast was awesome, strong with immense iron teeth. It was different then the first three and it had ten horns – Rome (Christendom: Why do I cite Christendom with Rome? Because Replacement Theology Christendom which has flourished for nearly two thousand years, crushing Israel, forcing mass exiles, pogroms and ultimately the Holocaust in Germany, all derived from Rome. It is the worst empire in that its power, reach and effectiveness was and is gigantic! We today are still under Roman exile in 2019!)

Notice we see Avram and his 318 men defeated and destroyed these four kings, which as I said above, is a great picture of how eventually Moshiach Yeshua will one day destroy these kings in the End of Days on that appointed day!! May it be so very soon in our days!!!

I hope you all can see how much is contained in these Torah portions and how relevant they are to our day and time today? HaShem has embedded so much yet for us to search out and discover!!! But it MUST be done according to His Ways!! SOOOOO much yet for us to learn!!

Much to consider!

Shabbat Shalom!

THE FIERY TORAH – THE BLUEPRINT OF LIFE

“If HaShem will not build the house, its builders labor on it vainly; if HaShem will not guard the city, the watchman was vigilant in vain.” Psalms 127:1

At the time of the posting of this Op we just finished the annual Torah reading cycle and have begun the new annual cycle for the biblical year 5780. This is how HaShem operates in His Kingdom i.e. cycles. With each new cycle of reading from His Torah, even though we have read through each portion time and again, we always learn something brand new we never saw before! Why? Because HaShem is infinite, endless and His Word will never pass away!

One aspect of the annual Torah reading cycle that is constantly reinforced is that HaShem is The King, He is echad (Hebrew word for ‘One’) which means there is no other. He shares His glory with no one! His mercies are fresh and anew every morning, yet we are to fear Him and not take Him for granted or treat Him casually. He promises He acts on our behalf, not because of who we are but solely because of Who He is! It boils down to it is His Way or no way, plain and simple. Life or death in which He leaves the choice up to each of us to decide our fate. While He calls out to everyone, not everyone answers His call.

This Op will discuss another aspect of His Torah some may have not considered before which will be based upon His Word. But before we can jump into this, always remember the following:

At the end of the Torah reading cycle, we read the final Torah portion: Vezot Ha’Bracha which is found in Deuteronomy 33:1-34:12. In Deuteronomy 33:2 HaShem makes a VERY interesting statement. He says “HaShem came from Sinai, having shone forth to them from Seir, having appeared from Mount Paran (Reference to HaShem having offered the Torah to the nations first but they rejected it), and then approached with some of the holy myriads, from His right hand He presented the fiery Torah to them.

The commentary from the Chumash is very interesting which says “‘From His right hand’ denotes the Torah was communicated directly by HaShem, not by any of the myriad of angels accompanying Him.” Meaning He Personally gave His Torah to Moshe! Shows the importance of His Torah!

Isaiah 62:8 says “HaShem has sworn by His right hand and by the arm of His strength.” The term ‘His right hand’ refers to His Torah. In His Word an oath is made while holding a sacred object. HaShem, as it were, swore holding both Torah and Tefillin (Leather straps wrapped around the right arm) as the term ‘the arm of His strength’ references Tefillin. This means HaShem not only keeps His Torah but also wears Tefillin.

How many references to HaShem’s right hand do we read about in His Word, from Genesis to Revelation? These references to His right hand or right arm are VERY, VERY important to key up on! For example here are a few interesting references; remember the term ‘Right hand’ refers to His Torah! Keep this in mind:

Psalms 16:10 says “You will reveal to me the path to life, the fullness of joys in Your Presence. There is delight at Your right hand for eternity.”

Psalms 18:35 says “You have given me Your shield of salvation, and Your right hand has sustained me.”

Psalms 20:7 says “Now I know that HaShem has made His anointed one victorious, He will answer him from His sacred heaven, with the omnipotent victories of His right arm.”

Psalms 48:10 says “Like Your Name, O Elohim, so is Your praise, to the ends of the earth. Righteousness fills Your right hand.”

Psalms 63:8 says “My soul cleaves after You; to me, Your right arm lent support.”

Psalms 78:54 says “And He brought them to His sacred boundary, to this mountain which His right hand acquired.”

Psalms 98:1 says “His Own right hand and His holy arm have helped Him.”

Psalms 108:6-7 says “Be exalted above heaven, O Elohim, and above all the earth, Your glory. So that Your beloved ones may be given rest, let Your right hand save and respond to me.”

Psalms 118:15-16 says “The sound of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous, ‘HaShem’s right hand does valiantly. HaShem’s right hand hand is raised triumphantly; HaShem’s right hand does valiantly!'”

Psalms 138:7 says “Though I walk amid distress, You will revive me. To counter the wrath of my enemies You extend Your hand, and Your right hand will save me.”

Psalms 139:10 says “There, too, Your hand would guide me, and Your right hand shall grasp me.”

Isaiah 41:10 says “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your Elohim; I have strengthened you, even helped you, and even sustained you with My righteous right hand.”

Are you detecting a theme with these references to His right hand? Are you detecting there is more to His right hand than His Torah? Are you detecting His right hand is also a reference to His Messiah?

Romans 8:34 says “Who is he who is condemning? It is Messiah who died, and furthermore is also raised up, who is also at the right hand of Elohim, who also makes intercession for us.”

Ephesians 1:19-20 says “And what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who are believing, according to the working of His mighty strength, which He wrought in the Messiah when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenlies.”

What is the point of all of this thus far? Torah and Messiah go hand in hand!! If we want to know, understand and walk with HaShem it MUST be through His Torah. Further, if we want to know His Messiah, Yeshua, again it MUST be through HaShem’s Torah! On a side note, when Christendom teaches the Replacement Theology doctrine the Torah is now fulfilled/obsolete/irrelevant, this is precisely why Judaism rejects Christendom’s Jesus, because it is impossible to separate HaShem’s Messiah from the Torah. This is precisely why I have rejected Christendom’s Replacement Theology Jesus. I digress.

Consider all of what has been said in light of beginning a new Torah reading cycle. This new cycle begins today with ‘B’reisheet’ Genesis 1:1-6:8, which discusses HaShem’s creating everything over six days. These six days of creation are so very important because it paints so many pictures of how HaShem has set things up such as mankind will have a span of 6,000 years to live on earth. Remember a thousand years is as a day to HaShem per Psalms 90:4. Consider the following:

  • The time before Abraham began to call out in the Name of HaShem = 2,000 years of darkness/void.
  • When Abraham began to teach mankind about HaShem, the One and only Elohim, this is considered the beginning of Torah dissemination = 2,000 years.
  • The last two days are called ‘The years of the Messiah’ because people are learning about the Messiah and He can show up to redeem His people = 2,000 years. How long has it been since Yeshua showed up and left? Nearly 2,000 years!
  • We are currently in the biblical year 5780 or 5,780 years from creation. However, this is not an accurate count. The Talmud tells us we are not accounting for nearly 300 years of events, thus the real calendar year is either right at or just about 6,000 years!! Thus the reason we are witnessing the world going into absolute chaos, darkness, rebellion, etc, because we truly are at the very end! Do we know the day or the hour? Not a chance!

Just as an example of why it is so exciting to study His Torah, when we begin this cycle with Genesis 1:1 we see in Hebrew the first seven words which comprise verse 1 which in Hebrew says “B’reisheet Bara Elohim et Ha’Shamyim Vayet HaAretz” or in English “In the beginning created HaShem the heavens and the earth.” We won’t see it in English, but in Hebrew, we see these seven words creates a seven branch Menorah with the Hebrew word ‘Et’ at the center i.e. which in Hebrew is spelled with the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet ‘Aleph’ and the last letter of the Hebrew alphabet ‘Tav’. This word ‘Et’ isn’t translated. To make a long story short, it is recognized to be a picture of the Torah/Messiah which being at the center of the Menorah means all the other lamps get their light from the center branch i.e. Torah/Messiah!

There are countless pictures like this in this one Torah portion alone! It is virtually endless and no one has found them all!! Again the point is, Yeshua is ALL over the Torah and the Torah reveals Yeshua! Without the Torah, the real Messiah cannot be seen! Is it any wonder then why the adversary has worked so hard to convince the masses to toss the Torah aside and why on the flip side he becomes so enraged when people embrace the Torah?

I will end this here as I could go on and on and on, but hopefully I have stirred the appetite a little to go and check this all out for yourselves? Can you see the fiery Torah HaShem gave is absolutely the blueprint of life? There is SO much to learn and SO much to be astounded by in a very good way.

Much to consider!

Shabbat Shalom!

THE NAZARITE VOW OF PAUL – ANOTHER PROOF TEXT THE TORAH NEVER ENDED!

“Praises to the one whom You choose to draw near to dwell in Your courts; may we be sated with the goodness of Your House (Temple), the holiest part of Your Sanctuary.” Psalms 65:5

As of the time of the posting of this op, we are within just a few days from the end of this year’s Torah reading cycle which means we prepare to begin the new annual Torah reading cycle.  As such I thought it important to once more post Scriptural proof text nothing changed, nothing ended and everything HaShem gave in the beginning is still very much for each of us today.  Granted there is a lot which we are not able to do simply because we do not live in the Land of Israel nor is there is a Temple standing on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, but this does not negate there are countless principles to learn and can be applied to each of our lives as we strive to grow closer to HaShem and understand His Messiah Yeshua.

Unfortunately, in my experience, the subject of HaShem’s Temple along with all of the Temple Services, the Korbonot (Offerings), the Levites and Kohanim, the Tavnit (Blueprints) of the Temple, etc, tends to stir the anger of many within the systems of religion to include Christendom.  It is not that these are bad people, it is the traditions they have been taught over the years are clashing with the truth of HaShem which has been hidden from our eyes all these years.  But, Baruch HaShem, He promised centuries ago that it would be like this and in the very end He would open our eyes and ears to what has always been there.  He promises in Jeremiah 16:19-21 “HaShem, my Strength, my Stronghold, and my Refuge on the day of distress!  To You nations will come from the ends of the earth and say:  ‘It was all falsehood that our ancestors inherited, futility that has no purpose.  Can a man make for gods for himself?  They are NOT gods!’  Therefore, behold, I inform them at this time, I shall let them know of My hand and My strength; and they shall know that My Name is HaShem!”   In the very end HaShem will cause the nations to see all their religions, gods, traditions, etc, were all inherited futile lies which are completely useless and had absolutely zero benefit to them.  Then they will see HaShem is the ONLY true Elohim and run to Him!  This is happening today with so many running out of the futile lies of the systems of religion to include Christendom and are running to HaShem, embracing His Ways, His Feasts, His Shabbats and His Torah!

It is true that many who have come out of these systems of religion, to include Christendom, have brought with them the baggage they learned from the Replacement Theology doctrines and dogma they were taught. I know speaking from personal experience that it is a long process to get free from all the futile idolatrous baggage acquired over all those years, but Baruch HaShem He is long suffering and knows where each of us are as He works this all out in our lives, as we walk away from the idolatrous, futile Replacement Theology of Christendom into the freedom and liberty of His Torah and truth.

The one absolute 100% proof text as recorded in the Apostolic Writings I wish to cite showing once and for all the Torah was NOT done away with nor was Paul ever teaching against the Torah to include the Oral Torah, is recorded in Acts 21 with regards to his being ready to complete a Nazarite Vow! When we study this out in detail, there will not be any valid arguments to support the Torah abolishing doctrine and dogma of Replacement Theology we all were taught!

The topic of the Nazarite Vow will be the focus of this Op and by the end of it, I hope and pray you will see not only is the Torah is still valid but also see the absolute need for the Oral Torah as well.  Remember Yeshua did not end nor did He change anything as He has been accused of!  Instead He restored and renewed!  Keep this in mind as we proceed!

Let’s begin.

Acts 18:18 says “And Sha’ul (Paul) having stayed several days more, having taken leave of the brothers, was sailing for Suria, and Priscilla and Aquilas were with him, HAVING SHAVED HIS HAIR at Kenhrea, FOR HE HAD TAKEN A VOW.”

So the question that must be asked is ‘What vow did he take as the Apostolic Writings do not explain?’ This is the first indicator the writers of the Apostolic Writings expect we as the readers know His Torah inside and out for having known HaShem and His Torah we would have read this and immediately known exactly what vow and what is entailed in this vow, but again I digress.

We see Paul shaved his hair and took a Nazarite Vow in Acts 18:18. Where in the Torah of HaShem does He discuss what is required of a Nazarite Vow? Bamidbar (Numbers) 6:1-8 discusses the Nazarite Vow in depth and also states what is to be abstained during the period of the vow: 1 – abstention from any grape products of any kind. 2 – cannot shave the head until the completion of the vow and 3 – may not become tamei (Ritually unclean) due to corpse impurity during the duration of the vow. These abstentions are meant to bring the person closer to HaShem and elevate their level of kedusha (Holiness/Being set apart to HaShem).

There are questions that need to be asked that the Written Torah does not address such as:What is the minimum time period of a Nazarite Vow? What constitutes grape products that must be abstained from? Where do we go to find the answers to these two simple questions? We have to go to the Oral Torah, specifically Tractate Nazir in the Mishnah and Tractate Nazir in the Talmud Bavli to get the answers!!

Per Tractate Nazir in the Talmud Bavli the minimum duration of the Nazarite Vow is 30 days and with regards to what constitutes grape products to be abstained from, this includes anything containing wine, leaves of grape vines, grape seeds or grape skins.

FOR THE RECORD THIS IMAGE IS NOT ENTIRELY CORRECT BUT IT GIVES A FAIRLY GOOD PICTURE OF THE LAYOUT OF THE TEMPLE

The next question to ask is at the end of the duration of the 30 days, what is required to complete the Nazarite Vow? Per Bamidbar 6:13-21: The one who is ready to complete vow must bring to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting a sheep in its first year as an Olah (Burnt) offering, a ram as a Shelamim (Peace) offering and a female lamb in its first year as a Chatat (Sin) offering. Additionally, they must bring ten Challot (Fine flour mixed with oil loaves) Minchah/bread offerings, 10 R’Kikim (Unleavened wafers smeared with oil) as well as a wine libation to be poured out onto the Altar. Then the Nazarite will shave his head and take his hair and put it on the fire that is under the Shelamim and burn it.

The Kohen (Priest) will then take the cooked foreleg of the Shelamim and one Challot (Fine flour mixed with oil loaf) and one R’ikikim (Unleavened wafer), and place them on the palms of the Nazarite after he has shaved his hair. The Kohen will perform Tenufah (Waving) them as a wave service before HaShem. Afterward the Nazarite is freed from the abstentions of the vow and may drink wine!

More questions to ask that is not specifically discussed in the Written Torah: How are the korbonot slaughtered? Where in relation to the Outer Altar are the animal korbonot slaughtered? What parts of the animals are prepared and placed on the Altar? How are the Minchah (Bread) offerings prepared? Who eats what parts of these korbonot? Where may they be eaten in relation to the Temple and for what specific amount of time are they allowed to eat them? How are the Nazarite and the items in his palms waved before HaShem? Can you see how already we have shown the need for the Oral Torah?

– How are the korbonot slaughtered? Tractate Zevachim in the Mishnah and Talmud Bavli discusses this question in great detail.

– Where in relation to the Outer Altar are the animal korbonot slaughtered? The animal korbonot are divided into two categories: Korban Kodshai Kodashim (Most holy offerings) and Korban Kodashim Kalim (Lesser Holy Offerings). The Lesser Holy Offerings may be slaughtered anywhere within the Azarah in the courtyard of the Temple. The Most Holy Offerings may ONLY be slaughtered immediately north of the Outer Altar. There are four steps for the slaughtering of the korbonot. They are: Shechitah/Slaughter in accordance with the Torah. Keibalah/Receiving of the blood into a sanctified vessel and can ONLY be done by a Kohen. Holachah/Carrying of the blood to the Altar and Zerikah/Throwing of the blood onto the Altar.

– The emurim (Sacrificial Parts) of the korbonot are removed, salted and placed upon the Outer Altar and are eaten either by the Kohen or by the owner of the korbonot and their guests with the exception of the Olah/Burnt Offering where the meat is wholly burnt and consumed by the fire.

– The emurim of the Shelamim (Peace Offering) that belong to the Kohen i.e. the breast and the right hind thigh may be eaten only by the Kohen. The remainder of the cooked meat belongs to the owner and may be eaten within the walls of Jerusalem and by his guests for up to two days after the slaughter. Additionally, one Challot and one Ri’kikim of the Minchah (Bread) offerings belong to the Kohen and the remaining 18 belong to the owner to be eaten.

– How is the Tenufah (Waving service) performed? The Kohen waves the Nazarite along with the items in his palms in all four directions and then up and down before HaShem. This is briefly discussed in Vayikra (Leviticus) 10:15 and expounded upon in Tractate Menachot 5:6 in the Mishnah.

See how much detail we need to learn to fully understand what is involved with something as simple as a Nazarite Vow and how much we really do not know or understand the Apostolic Writings? No wonder HaShem commands us in Ezekiel 43:10-11 to learn everything about His Temple to include the korbonot and the Temple Services! It is the key to understanding everything from Genesis to Revelation! I digress.

Finally, in addition to bringing the three animal and twenty Minchah korbonot, the Nazarite must go to the Temple to shave his hair and cook the meat of his Shelamim (Peace Offering). So where in the Temple does he go? He goes to the Lishkat HaNezirim or the Chamber of the Nazarite which is a chamber in the SE corner of the Court of the Women. It is in here that the meat belonging to the owner of the Shelamim korbonot is cooked along with his cut hair is burnt in the fire!

So with all this in mind, now we go to Acts 21:17-26 which says “And when we (Paul) had arrived in Yerushalayim, the brothers received us gladly. And on the following day, Paul went in with us to Yaakov (James) and all the elders came. And having greeted them, he was relating one by one what Elohim had done among the Gentiles through his service. And when they heard it, they praised the Master. And they said to him (Paul), ‘You see, brother, how many tens of thousands of Yehudim there are who have believed AND all are ardent for the Torah, but they have been informed about you that you teach all the Yehudim who are among the Gentiles to forsake Moshe (Torah), saying not to circumcise the children nor to walk according to the practices (Oral Torah). What then is it? They shall certainly hear that you have come. So do this, what we say to you: We have four men who have taken a vow (Nazarite Vow). Take them and be cleansed with them (Sprinkled with the Ashes of the Red Heifer), and pay their expenses so that they shave their heads. And all will know that what they have been informed about you is NOT so, but that you yourself also walk orderly, keeping the Torah. But concerning the Gentiles who believe, we have written and decided that they should keep themselves from what is offered to idols, and blood and what is strangled (Meaning they can only eat kosher) and whoring.’ Then Paul took the men on the next day, and having been cleansed with them, went into the Temple to announce the completion of the days of separation, until the offering should be presented for each of them.”

A few points to highlight in these verses in Acts 21 above: Consider that about 95% of all the writers of the Apostolic Writings are present here in this meeting with Paul and what are they discussing? How there are tens of thousands of Yehudim who are all believers in Yeshua as the Messiah AND are all ardent and zealous for the Torah! So if the Torah is now tossed aside, they clearly did NOT get that message!

Second, the fact Paul does not object to taking these four other men with him up to the Temple to complete their Nazarite Vows proves 100% Paul is NOT anti-Torah or anti-Oral Torah! This act not only elevates his kedushah closer to HaShem but also silences his accusers that he is teaching against the Torah and the Oral Torah!! So the question which must be asked is why is Christendom always siding with Paul’s accusers in teaching Paul taught a message against the Torah, the Feasts, the Shabbat, etc? Who is lying Paul or Christendom? Each of us will have to decide that for ourselves.

Additionally, we see that Paul is paying for the expenses for all five of them! That is a total of 15 animals (Three animal korbonot per person) as well as 100 Minchah korbonot (Twenty per person)! This is VERY expensive!! Then consider that this is some thirty years AFTER Yeshua had come and gone and yet Paul has zero objections to bringing a Chatat (Sin) offering. Uh oh, this can only mean Yeshua never ended the korbonot nor did He end the Chatat (Sin) offerings! Can you see how our theology has to change and how it is through learning everything about His Temple, just as He commands us to, reveals what the truth is and exposes the false doctrines?

Further, we see the elders here have decided the Gentile believers must abstain from the four prohibitions which are: what is offered to idols, and blood and what is strangled (Meaning they can ONLY eat kosher) and whoring. Unfortunately today many believe this is ONLY what Gentile believers must do and then toss out the rest of the Torah. What is certain is the elders are NOT limiting Gentile believers to these four prohibitions, but are in fact telling them they must immediately abstain from these four prohibitions as they BEGIN to learn the Torah in the synagogues every Shabbat. Additionally, until that Gentile believer formally converts and for the males to become physically circumcised, they are prohibited from going up to the Temple as there is a death penalty if they do. This further proves the believers in Yeshua were all Torah observant and walked according to the Halakah i.e. the Oral Torah!

It is so sad the way Paul has been depicted today as being against HaShem, His Torah, His Feasts, His Shabbat and just about everything HaShem established from the beginning when in reality the man was zealous for the Torah in every way possible! In fact Paul at one point says he IS a Pharisee, not that he used to be a Pharisee, but was still a Pharisee per Philippians 3 in which he says he was “circumcised on the eighth day, of the race of Yisra’el, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews, according to the Torah a Pharisee.” Point is, he did NOT give up his identity nor his status as a Pharisee in order to follow Yeshua! This of course clashes with many in Christendom today, which again is very sad because they are missing out on SO much! I digress.

Can we take a Nazarite Vow today? Sadly, no we cannot, simply because there is no Temple in Jerusalem to bring our required korbonot, in addition there is no way to be purified from any corpse impurity which we all surely are contaminated with today whether we know it or not. Does this negate the need to study and learn everything about His Temple as He commands in Ezekiel 43:10-11? Not a chance!

So why are we collectively clinging to the Replacement Theology doctrine and dogma that teaches the Torah is something which has been rendered nullified, obsolete and something to be shunned when just from this one topic of the Nazarite Vow shows absolutely the opposite? Paul did tell the Corinthians in 1 Corinthians 11:1 to “Imitate him as he imitates Messiah Yeshua.” If Paul remained a Pharisee, zealous for the Torah of HaShem while acknowledging Yeshua as the Messiah, then what options do we have today in our walks with HaShem?

For the record I am NOT saying we need to go out and convert to Judaism…that is NOT what I am saying. What I am saying is that if these resources that Judah has fought and literally died to preserve over the centuries per the mandate of HaShem, and were all supported by and used by Yeshua, as well as the writers of the Apostolic Writings, then why are we tossing them aside today? Again the question has to be asked, “Who is teaching futile lies inherited by our fathers, Paul or Christendom?”

This is precisely why I firmly believe HaShem is restoring everything because very soon, the Mizbe’ach (Altar) will be placed and operating once more on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and we all will have to know the protocols for approaching our Great King and the Oral Torah in conjunction with the Written Torah is the only way to do that.

So now that we prepare to begin a new Torah reading cycle, I hope any doubts the Torah doesn’t apply to us is proven once more to be false and that in fact the Torah does indeed apply to each of us!! Freedom from the bondage to the lies of inherited futility is beyond description!

This all said, we eagerly await the time when HaShem allows for the rebuilding of the Mizbe’ach on the Temple Mount and the restoration of the korbonot so we can draw near to our Great King! May it be very, very soon in our days!!

Much to consider!
