“WE HOPE FOR LIGHT, BUT THERE IS DARKNESS” – JUSTICE VS INJUSTICE

“Behold, the king will rule for the sake of righteousness and the officers will govern for justice.” Isaiah 32:1

Would you all agree the world today as we know it is in serious trouble? Would you also agree that we all need to be seeking out HaShem, the Elohim of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Elohim of Israel, more than ever? I must warn you all up front, this Op will be VERY long…I have been researching this topic now for a few weeks and it just keeps getting longer and longer as there is SOOOOO much information that I want to share with you all and trying to pack it all into one Op is a bit difficult! So, thank you in advance for your patience. Now let me state for the record, this Op is NOT intended to highlight the horrible nature of humanity and what is currently going on around us…it is meant to be an Op of hope and anticipation, meaning highlighting how horrible things are is meant to be an indicator of how soon our Redeemer may be showing up to rescue His Own, like seeing the glimmer of light in the distance. For example, HaShem uses the picture of a woman in labor and her labor pains to teach us of the End, meaning the greater the pains i.e. turmoil, injustice, corruption, violence, etc, the sooner that baby will be born i.e. the Gathering of His people and later the arrival of Messiah to Jerusalem!! Please keep this in mind! May it be so very soon in our days!

With all the insanity going on around us with the ‘Cancel Culture’ and the efforts to actually de-fund and/or disband the police in our cities, we see there is a major effort underway to erase any forms of justice which remained in our country. This is unleashing the criminals, lawless and the corrupt in unprecedented acts of violence; meanwhile criminals walk free and the victims face harsh punishments…it is truly surreal.

However, one aspect of all this, is that HaShem is not only beginning to unleash His judgment upon the world and America, but is by extension, revealing how the justice of mankind is corrupt, hopeless and will lead to ruin apart from Him. On the flip side and more importantly, we are being given a first row glimpse at how corrupt man is, and in doing so, HaShem is revealing by contrast His righteousness and justice which He rules in His Kingdom and soon to be on the earth via the righteousness and justice of His Agent i.e. Messiah Yeshua! I hope to explain all of this better in this very long Op as we will be examining what Yeshua said with regards to the End of Days.

But as I always include in my Op’s, never forget the following attributes and characteristics of HaShem, especially in conjunction to this Op as these attributes will help explain the Op in their own right:

INJUSTICE VS JUSTICE

To understand why the world, to include America, is in the state it is in today with all the riots and the efforts to free society from the oppressive shackles of law and order, yes I am being sarcastic, we need to examine what Yeshua said concerning the End:

Yeshua warns us in Matthew 24:37-39 “And as the days of Noach, so also shall the coming of the Son of Adam be. For as they were in the days before the flood, eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noach entered the ark, and they did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also shall the coming of the Son of Adam be.”

Further, He said in Luke 17:28-30 says “And likewise, as it came to be in the days of Lot: They were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building, but on the day Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and sulfur from heaven and destroyed all.”

What were the conditions of the Days of Noach and the Days of Lot? Yeshua is referencing two distinct time periods and pointing to the states of the societies in these two time periods and telling us how these societies were is how it will be in the End! Remember HaShem reveals the end from the beginning and there is nothing new under the sun! We will shortly examine in depth the societies of these two different time periods here shortly.

In light of this thus far, consider the words of King David which ring out louder today than ever before, in my opinion, when choosing to ‘believe’ HaShem and Who He is, in the face of the times we currently live in, when David said “HaShem is my Rock, my Fortress, and my Rescuer. Elohim, my Rock in Whom I take shelter, my Shield, and the Horn of my Salvation, my Stronghold and my Refuge. My Savior, You save me from injustice!” 2 Samuel 22:2-3. Keep this in mind as we proceed! Baruch HaShem for He is unchanging and His Word stands forever!!

Before we can jump into the deep end of the pool in this Op, we need to first examine how HaShem define’s the words ‘Injustice’ and ‘Justice’ from His Word.

  • ‘Injustice’ is the Hebrew word ‘Chamas’ which means “Violence, wrong, cruelty, robbery, injustice, a violent shaking, false, damage, unrighteous, commit evil incrementally, doing petty wrongs, law evading evil, to insult, to rob, wicked government, extortion, to be ruined.” It is first used in Genesis 6:11 “The earth was also corrupt before Elohim, and the earth was filled with violence (Chamas).”
    • Commentary from the Genesis Chumash says ‘Injustice/Chamas’ can also be translated as ‘Prohibited relationships’ or ‘Idolatry’.
    • Corruption seems to go with ‘Chamas’ so let’s see what this is about: Genesis 6:11 says the “whole earth was corrupted, for all flesh had corrupted its way.” This is understood to mean that humanity mated domestic animals with wild animals AND all sorts of animals WITH humans per Tractate Sanhedrin 108a of the Talmud Bavli. Gee, how many articles do we read per year of how scientists are combining the DNA of animals with humans in labs?
      • Sanhedrin 57a from the Talmud Bavli says “Anywhere the term ‘Corruption’ is stated in the Torah, it is referring ONLY to sexual matters (Illicit) or idolatry.” Let’s look at some key verses and see how ‘Chamas’ is used for further clarification:
        • Proverbs 21:7 says “The robbery (Chamas) of the wicked will cause them to fear, since they have refuse to execute justice.” The commentary on this verse says “Robbery is a direct result of the failure of the authorities to enforce justice; therefore, they will have to take responsibility for such crime.”
        • Psalms 73:6 says “Therefore their necklace is pride enwrapping their body in their own violence (Chamas).” The commentary says concerning these wicked people “Use their ill gotten gains to purchase respectability so that their nakedness i.e. shameful reputation, will be concealed.”
        • Psalms 140:2 says “Release me, HaShem, from the wicked man, from the man of violence (Chamas) preserve me.” The commentary on this verse says The man of violence is not stirred by gain, greed, nor glory; rather he enjoys the perpetration of violence and crime for its own sake. To him, evil is an end and a value in itself. He enjoys causing pain or damage. He derives even greater pleasure from openly and brazenly committed violence.” Good grief, sound like the riots we see today?
        • Psalms 140:5 says “Guard me, HaShem, from the hands of the wicked, from the man of violence (Chamas) preserve me, those who contrive to jostle my feet.” This verse is an allusion to the exile of Israel into the world. The term ‘The wicked’ is in reference to Islam/Ishmaelites while ‘The man of violence’ refers to Edom i.e. Rome otherwise known as Replacement Theology Christianity! Very interesting…Christendom and its doctrine is called ‘The man of violence’….very good description of Christendom!
        • Psalms 140:12 says “Let not the slanderous man be established on earth, let evil hunt down the man of violence (Chamas) and overthrow him.” The commentary on this verse says “The evil man has sown the seeds of his own destruction within himself. He has so perverted his nature that he prefers evil and despises good. At first such a person indulges in forbidden but normal lusts. Eventually, he becomes so corrupted that he can be sated only by perverted pleasures. His instinctive attraction to evil does not allow him to rest. It hunts him down and forces him to act violently, and this ingrained nature will eventually cause his overthrow and destruction.”
        • Isaiah 60:18 says “No longer will violence (Chamas) be heard of in your land, nor plunder and calamity in your borders. And you will call Elohim’s salvation your protective walls, and His praise will be your gateways.” This is a prophetic verse which has yet to occur in which Israel will not need walls for protection against the enemy, instead all of Israel will rely upon HaShem and in doing so Israel will proclaim the Salvation (Yeshua) of HaShem!
        • Jeremiah 51:45-46 says “Go out from its (Babylon) midst, My people, and let each man save his soul from the burning anger of HaShem. Lest you be disheartened and frightened by the report that will be heard in the land, a report will come that year and after it a report the next year; violence (Chamas) in the land, and one ruler after another.” These are verses speaking of the End and the coming destruction of Babylon (United States).
        • Amos 3:9-10 says “Announce atop the palaces of Ashdod and atop the palaces in the land of Egypt; say, ‘Gather together on the mountains o Samaria and observe the great turmoils within it and the oppressed people in its midst.’ They do not know how to do right, the Word of HaShem, they store up violence (Chamas) and plunder in their palaces.” The commentary on these verses says “So immersed have these people become in their evil ways that they are no longer capable of righteous behavior.”

Very interesting! Can you see how the definition and the Scriptural examples of the meaning of ‘Chamas’ seems to be very similar to what we are seeing today in American society and politics?

Now let’s examine the opposite of ‘Injustice/Chamas’ and see how HaShem defines this concept and how He applies it:

  • Justice is the Hebrew word ‘Tsedeqah’ which means “Righteousness, justice, righteous acts, justify, cleansed, one who is upright or righteous is one who walks a straight path (Torah), exonerating, universal truth, clemency, purity, equity, liberality, virtue.” It is first used in Genesis 15:6 which says “And he (Abraham) trusted (Faith – Believed) HaShem, and He reckoned it to him as righteousness (Tsedeqah).” This verse here in Genesis, again destroys the accusations of Replacement Theology Christendom that those who strive to keep the Torah are trying to “earn their salvation.” Point is, it has ALWAYS been first faith/trust/believe HaShem and what He says, THEN learn and strive to walk out His Torah as the demonstration of that faith….remember “Faith/trust/belief without works (Torah) is dead” quoting James 2:26, meaning it means nothing and counts for nothing if Torah is tossed aside. Keep this in mind as we continue!
    • The commentary on Genesis 15:6 says “The Jewish people are called ‘believers’, the children of believers. The Jews themselves are called ‘believers’ because when they were in Egypt and Moshe told them that HaShem would redeem them, they accepted his words and believed HaShem would truly redeem them.” Point is, they believed HaShem (Faith) and then they did what He commanded them to do i.e. slaughter a lamb, put the blood on the door posts, stay in their homes while He passed over and wiped the Egyptian firstborn out and then He delivered them out! I digress.
      • Deuteronomy 6:24-25 says “HaShem commanded us to perform all these decrees, to fear HaShem, our Elohim, for our good, all the days, to give us life, as this very day. And it will be a merit (Tsedeqah) if we are careful to perform this entire commandment before HaShem, our Elohim, as He commanded.” Very interesting as HaShem connects living and walking out His Torah with ‘Tsedeqah/Righteousness’!
      • Psalms 103:6 says “HaShem does righteous (Tsedeqah) deeds, and judgments for all the oppressed.” The commentary on this verse says “In order to rescue all the oppressed, HaShem issues judgments and punishments against those who oppress them.”
      • Psalms 103:17 says “But the kindness of HaShem is forever and ever upon those who fear Him, and His righteousness (Tsedeqah) upon children’s children.”
      • Psalms 119:142 says “Your righteousness (Tsedeqah) is an everlasting righteousness (Tsedeqah) and Your Torah is truth.” The commentary on this verse says “There is only one reality, Torah! All else is illusion. Torah is the source of all creation, and only by virtue of Torah does the world continue to exist. Moreover, it is the Torah that established the basic standards of decency, morality, and honesty. Without this fundamental ethic of truth, the world would cease to exist.” So why would we want to be free from HaShem and His Torah as Replacement Theology teaches?
      • Proverbs 15:9 says “The way of a wicked person is an abomination to HaShem, but He loves a pursuer of righteousness (Tsedeqah).” A person who strives to walk in the Torah of HaShem, seeking to help others at every opportunity, treating others correctly, etc, HaShem loves this person.
      • Proverbs 21:3 says “Doing what is right (Tsedeqah) and just is preferable to HaShem than an offering.” This states what HaShem expresses several times throughout His Word that He prefers obedience and sincerity to offerings brought in a sanctimonious spirit.
      • Isaiah 1:27-28 says “Zion will be redeemed through justice, and those who return to her through righteousness (Tsedeqah); but calamity awaits rebels and sinners together, and those who forsake HaShem will perish.”
      • Isaiah 54:17 says “Any weapon sharpened against you will not succeed, and any tongue that will rise against you in judgment, you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of HaShem and their righteousness (Tsedeqah) from Me, the Word of HaShem.” Those who slander and mock, especially for the sake of the Torah, will one day be condemned when the truth of the Torah is revealed to them and their accusations and wicked ways are fully exposed.
      • Jeremiah 23:5-6 says “Behold, days are coming, the Word of HaShem, when I will establish a righteous (Tsedeqah) sprout from David; a king will reign and prosper and he will administer justice and righteousness (Tsedeqah) in the land. In his days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely. This is the name people will call him: ‘HaShem is our righteousness‘ (Tsedeqah).”****This does NOT mean Yeshua IS HaShem in the flesh, it in fact is a Hebraic way of praising HaShem and acknowledging Who provides and Who is the source of all things!**** These two verses are prophetic in nature and speak directly of Yeshua as the sprout of David, ruling as King over all of Judah and Israel! I would recommend you refer to the following Op I did discussing who exactly HaShem divorced and how He will redeem and restore all of Israel: https://torahandtempleinvestigations.com/2020/06/22/why-is-madness-consuming-the-world-today-are-we-close-to-the-end/

WOW…I hope you can see the contrast between Chamas/Injustice vs Tsedeqah/Justice – Righteousness and see how HaShem rules via Tsedeqah and therefore His Agent i.e. Messiah Yeshua will rule as King via Tsedeqah. Further, I hope thus far you can see that only by walking in HaShem’s Torah is one being and walking in Tsedeqah/Justice – Righteousness!

ERA OF NOACH

So, now with all this said, I want to now examine the societies of the era of Noach and the era of Lot in Sodom and Gomorrah and see how it relates and compares to what we see around us today in the world and here in America! Perhaps, we will see that we truly are in the End of Days, on the very cusp or on the precipice of the beginning of the ‘Chevlei Mashiach (birthpangs of Mashiach)’ or the seven years of Ya’akov’s Trouble, which will begin on A Rosh HaShanah which is a Fall Feast!

We will be examining many different sources as we investigate the societies of Noach and Lot.

Genesis 6:5 says “HaShem saw that the wickedness of Man was great upon the earth, and that every produce of the thoughts/imagination of his heart was but evil always.” Very interesting HaShem is singling out the thoughts/imagination of the hearts of men and that it was evil constantly in the era of Noach. We need to therefore examine what this word ‘Imagination’ means to get a better idea of what was going on then and see how it relates to our society and world today:

  • Imagination – It is the Hebrew word ‘Yetser’ which means ‘Mind, purpose, graven image, the forming of thought in the mind, shaping, forcing, inclination, desire, sensual passion, hatred, passion for idolatry’. From the Hebrew word ‘Yatsar’ which means ‘To form, fashion, frame.’ Very interesting, so the imagination HaShem is zeroing in on here is the evil inclination which results in corrupted sensual passion and idolatry. Let’s examine a few key verses and other sources to get better clarification:
    • Deuteronomy 31:21 says “It shall be when many evils and distresses come upon it (Israel), then this song (Torah) shall speak up before it as a witness, for it (Torah) shall not be forgotten from the mouth of its offspring (Israel), for I know its (Israel) inclination (Yetser), what it does today, before I bring them to the Land that I have sworn.” Deuteronomy 31 is literally packed full of prophetic pictures HaShem paints for Israel in the End of Days; this verse is one of them. Remember, HaShem reveals the end from the beginning!! On a side note – Verses 10-12 from Chapter 31 is especially important because of the picture it paints of the end of the seven years of the Chevlei Mashiach which says “Moshe commanded them, saying ‘At the end of seven years, at the time of the Sabbatical year, during the Sukkot festival, when ALL Israel comes to appear before HaShem, your Elohim, in the place that He will choose (The Temple in Jerusalem), you shall read this Torah before all Israel, in their ears. Gather together the people, the men, the women, and the small children, and your stranger (Non-Jewish believers in HaShem – Notice they are with Israel and COMMANDED by HaShem to not only fear Him, but to hear and DO the Torah!) who is in your cities, so that they will hear and so that they will learn, and they shall fear HaShem, your Elohim, and be careful to perform all the words of this Torah.'” This is important because Yeshua ‘Gathers’ the living and the resurrected on that specific Rosh HaShanah…seven years later on that Yom Kippur He returns to Jerusalem and defeats the Impostor/False Messiah and then five days later on that Sukkot He gathers ALL of Israel to the Temple in Jerusalem and will have the greatest celebration ever recorded in human history….then the Temple will be re-dedicated to HaShem on that Chanukah. I digress.
      • Sanhedrin 138b from the Talmud Bavli says concerning Deut 31:21 “The Torah will eventually be forgotten from the nation of Israel, as it is stated per Amos 8:11-12 ‘Behold, days are coming, declares HaShem, that I will send a hunger into the Land, not a hunger for bread and not a thirst for water, but to hear the Words of HaShem.'” I firmly believe that time of famine for hearing HaShem’s Word is being fulfilled because there is an explosion of interest now not just by Jews but by non-Jews who are running out of the systems of religion and grasping onto the Torah of HaShem like never before…Baruch HaShem!
    • Psalms 103:14 says “For He knew our nature (Yetser), He remembers that we are dust.” The commentary on this verse says “HaShem recognizes that our physicality drags us toward the animal aspect of our natures, and therefore He is lenient and merciful with us.”
    • Isaiah 26:3 says “The being (Yetser) that relied on You, protect him with peace, peace; for in You did he trust.” The commentary says “Those who have absolute trust in HaShem despite numerous disappointments will have HaShem’s blessing that they find absolute shalom (peace).”
    • Habbakuk 2:18 says “Of what avail is the graven image that its maker (Yetser) has carved (Yetser), the molten image or teacher of falsehood, that its maker should place his trust in it to make mute idols?” This verse is asking the question to what avail, what help, can a mute, man-made image be on the day of destruction? It obviously can’t be of any help and will only hasten a persons destruction.

Now that we have examined what HaShem meant by the ‘imagination’ being evil continually, let’s now examine what the Midrash Rabbah and the Talmud Bavli has to say about the era of Noach…I think you will be astounded at how similar we see the country and the world around us today! But let me first clarify, for those who do not know what the Midrash Rabbah is, it is the interpretation and discussions recorded concerning the Torah of HaShem. It is a VERY useful tool that helps us understand what is being taught by HaShem.

Now here is the part where we delve into the deep end of the pool!

Genesis 6:2 says “The sons of Elohim saw that the daughters of man were good and they took for themselves wives from whomever they chose.” The underlined portion of this verse is what I want to highlight.

  • Midrash Rabbah Genesis 26:5 says “‘And they took for themselves wives’ which is a reference these men took wives of other men, meaning they took married women to themselves.” Point is there was zero sanctity of marriage!
    • “The members of the generation of the Flood were not blotted out from the world UNTIL they WROTE MARRIAGE DOCUMENTS FOR MALES MARRYING OTHER MALES AND ANIMALS!” Gee, do we celebrate homosexual marriage in America today? Yup, every day commercials and television shows, politicians, movies, etc, all celebrate homosexuality and homosexual marriage! If this is what sealed the fate of the generation of the Flood, then what does that say about America? Means, in my opinion, the destruction of America has been sealed and nothing can stop it now!
      • Note #87 says “This is derived from that which it states, ‘And they took for themselves wives from whomever they chose.’ The term which is indicative of marriage i.e. Deuteronomy 24:1, refers not only to wives, but also to the males and animals included in the words from ‘Whomever they chose’. This practice SEALED their fates, as not only did they engage in such acts privately, they SHAMELESSLY PUBLICIZED THEIR ABOMINABLE LIFESTYLES.”
        • INSIGHTS: “Our Midrash indicates that these sinful unions, in and of themselves, would not have been sufficient cause to destroy the world; it was only the marriage contracts that sealed the world’s fate. For these contracts showed just how perverse the people had become: In their ‘progressive’ worldview, there was no objective right or wrong; one’s overriding obligation was to be true to himself, to express his personality by following his desires wherever they lead. Consequently, these marriages were not only natural and legitimate, they were as sacred and noble as any conventional union between man and women. Only when this practice gained currency was it impossible for Elohim’s goals for the world to be realized through mankind as then constituted. Sinners who guiltily yield to temptation can be reformed. But those who perversely cast sin as virtue will be set right.”
    • Midrash Rabbah Genesis 31:2 says “G-d said to Noach, ‘The end of all flesh as come before Me, for the earth is filled with robbery through them’ Genesis 6:13. The Midrash states that the generation of the Flood became haughty and sinned due to the abundance that HaShem granted them, shortly before the Flood He began to punish them and curse their handiwork.” In my opinion, HaShem began to strip away their abundance as an effort to cause them to repent of their wickedness, sadly all it they did was to dig their heels in and run that much harder and faster into embracing wickedness and perversion. I bring this up because I see the same happening in America today where HaShem is allowing COVID and the subsequent financial problems to include the riots to force people to consider their ways and repent…sadly no one is teaching anything about repentance, just that America will survive and come out the other end even stronger. Sadly, that WILL NOT happen….an unrepentant America is a finished America. I digress.
    • Midrash Rabbah Numbers 9:24 says “The members of the generation of the Flood became arrogant before the Omnipresent only because of the bounty that He lavished upon them, as it is stated, ‘Their homes are peaceful (safe), from fear; the rod of Elohim is not against them. His bull impregnates without fail; his cow gives birth and does not miscarry. They send out their young ones like sheep; their children prance about. They raise their voices like a drum and a harp; they rejoice at the sound of the flute. They spend their days with good fortune, and they descend to the grave in a moment (Job 21:9-13).’ This is what caused them to become arrogant, as the passage continues, they said to Elohim ‘Go away from us! WE HAVE NO DESIRE TO KNOW YOUR WAYS (TORAH)! What is the Almighty that we should serve Him? What will we gain if we pray to Him?” Should send shivers down your spine because how many times do I read on these blogs how the adherents of Replacement Theology shake their fists, figuratively speaking, in the Face of HaShem and say “Go away from us! We have no desire to know Your ways!”
  • Sanhedrin 108b Tamud Bavli says “The people of the generation of the Flood acted corruptly in a manner characterized by Scripture as ‘Great’ and they were punished in a manner similarly characterized as ‘Great’. Since they eclipsed all boundaries of decent behavior with their evil ways, they were visited with a catastrophe that transcended the normal boundaries of natural disasters.”

Now why is this something to pay attention too? Because HaShem is very clear in Jeremiah 50-51 and Isaiah 13, He WILL destroy Babylon i.e. America, in the End of Days just before the Chevlei Mashiach (Birth Pains) begin in one literal hour! This sudden destruction will come as a result of the abominations and corruption that has gone out to the entire earth. It is this sudden destruction which then propels the Impostor/False Messiah to rise in Assyria (Europe) and take power. I digress.

WOW…so we can see the generation of the Flood were haughty, arrogant, perverted pretty much anything and everything, embraced homosexuality/transgenderism, declared homosexual marriage to be just as sacred as normal marriage, they publicly and with lots of pomp and circumstance celebrated their abominable lifestyles without any shame! Finally, they declared to HaShem Himself to get away from them and that they had zero desire to learn the Torah of HaShem! Sound like today?

Now we will discuss the era of Sodom and Gomorrah since Yeshua Himself pointed to this time as how the people of the End would be!

ERA OF SODOM AND GOMORAH

Genesis 18:20-21 says “So HaShem said, ‘Because the outcry of Sedom and Amorah (Gomorah) has become great and because their sin has been very grave. I will descend and see: If they act in accordance with its outcry which has come to Me, then destruction! And if not, I will know.”

Sodom and Gomorah was an extremely wicked, vile and corrupt society as we shall soon see!

  • Sanhedrin 109b Talmud Bavli says “There was a young woman in Sedom who would secretly hide bread in her pitcher and bring it out to the poor. Her actions were eventually discovered by the wicked Sedomites. To punish her, they smeared her with honey and placed her on top of the city wall. Attracted by the honey covering her, bees came and ate her i.e. stung her to death. The ultimate outcry against Sedom and Amorah was a result of the crime against this young woman.” The point for this example is the justice system of Sodom was completely corrupt which included laws that made it illegal to help the poor.
  • Sanhedrin 109b Talmud Bavli says “This section of the Talmud describes the utter depravity of the Sodomite judicial system: There were four judges in Sodom: Shakrai, Shakrurai, Zaifai and Matzeli Dina:
    • If there was a person who struck his fellow’s wife and as a result she miscarried, the judges would say to the husband: ‘It is our verdict that you shall give your wife to the attacker, so that he may impregnate her for you and thereby replace the unborn child whose death he caused.’
    • If there was a person who lopped off the ear of his fellow’s donkey, the judges would say to the owner: ‘Give the donkey to the damager until such time as the ear grows back.
    • If there was a person who wounded his fellow, the judges would say to the injured: ‘Give your assailant his wage, for he let blood for you, and this is a medical procedure for which you ordinarily pay a specialist.'” Can you see the judicial system was completely corrupted i.e. no justice! Gee, see any similarities especially as of late in the American justice system today i.e. victims of ANTIFA/BLM rioters who are punished and the rioters are let go or the de-funding the police crowd. The corrupt politicians and celebrities i.e. Epstein’s Pedophile Island, etc?
  • Midrash Rabbah Leviticus 5:1 says “It is noteworthy that not only were they (Sodom and Gomorah) destroyed but also their verdant, fertile land, as it states: ‘Now HaShem had caused sulfur and fire to rain upon Sodom and Gomorah, from HaShem, out of heaven. He overturned these cities and the entire plain, with all the inhabitants of the cities and the vegetation of the soil (Genesis 19:24-25). It was the rich and fertile land that HaShem bestowed upon them that led to their cruelty and perverse behavior, as we discussed in Sanhedrin 109b, that the people of Sodom became arrogant only because of the bounty that the Holy One, blessed is He, lavished upon them. The people of Sodom said: ‘Why do we need wayfarers, who come to us only to deprive us our money! Let us undertake to mistreat all non-Sodomites so terribly that they will no longer desire to travel through our territory.’ The root of Sodom’s evil was selfishness and greed. Sodom’s rich and fertile earth made it a magnet for people wishing to make their fortune. But the Sodomites wished to maintain their own prosperity and not be encumbered by a flood of poor immigrants. To discourage undesirable newcomers, the people of Sodom institutionalized cruelty, making it a crime to feed a starving person or offer alms to a beggar. Since it was the precious land with which HaShem had blessed them, and which they selfishly refused to share with anyone else, that led to their depravity, it was fitting that not only did they themselves perish but their land was destroyed as well. The blessed land they had misused would be inhabited no more.” WOW…read Jeremiah 50-51 about how He will make Babylon (America) inhabited no more after the one hour attack is completed!

As we know, Sodom and Gomorah were completely destroyed and it was their injustice and sexual perversions i.e. homosexuality which sealed its fate and all that is left today is the Dead Sea region in Israel…a barren, landscape with a sea of water that is literal poison and is deadly to a person who drinks it i.e. the Dead Sea! HaShem means exactly what He says and His warnings must be fully embraced and understood!

So the question I hear people ask is why does HaShem allow these terrible events to occur? The best answer I have read comes from the Midrash Rabbah Genesis 42:5 which says “This is the message of our Midrash. When we see that countries are involved with diplomatic or military aggression against one another, we should understand that HaShem has orchestrated it for the benefit of His people. And when He intervenes in history i.e. the Flood, Sodom, etc, we must see it as a harbinger that He is prepared to bring the ultimate REDEMPTION and we should respond by intensifying our service of HaShem.” In other words, every event in human history is all leading to our Final Redemption i.e. the Greater Exodus, Baruch HaShem!

To summarize: The generation of the Flood is about idolatry, homosexuality/perversion run amok, pride, arrogance and the willful rejection of HaShem and His Torah. The generation of Sodom is about injustice, homosexuality/perversion, pride, greed, arrogance and idolatry! Does this sound like America today?

Since HaShem is unchanging and reveals the end from the beginning, then what should we take away from these two examples since Yeshua cited them as being the indicator for when the End was at hand? We should now more than ever run to HaShem, pour ourselves as much as possible into His Torah and then look up and lift up our heads for our redemption draws near!

One final thought: I want to include this paragraph from a great book entitled “Social Justice in Ancient Israel and in the Ancient Near East’ by Moshe Weinfeld on page 7 which says “Israel’s mission to do justice and righteousness first appears in the Bible in G-d’s call to the father of the nation, Abraham: ‘For I have singled him out, that he may instruct his children and his posterity to keep the way of HaShem, by performing righteousness and justice (Gen 18:19).’ Israel’s prophets saw the fulfillment of this goal as the basis of the nation’s existence (See Is 5:7, Jer 4:2, Amos 5:24; Mic 6:8; etc), depicting the image of an ideal, future king of the Davidic house WHO WILL PERFORM JUSTICE AND RIGHTEOUSNESS LIKE DAVID (Speaking of King Messiah).”

Only when Messiah is ruling with justice and righteousness will the earth finally be at peace!

Point is, the mandate of the people of HaShem i.e. Israel, is to perform justice and righteousness in the world as an imitation of our Great King HaShem Himself Who rules and executes justice and righteousness over His Creation and will mandate His Agent, Messiah Yeshua, to rule exactly the same way! This is why in the world around us today, we desire, we long and we constantly pray to HaShem, may that day come swiftly where His Agent, His Messiah will rule with justice and righteousness and put the world back into the state it was created and the way He originally designed for it to operate!! Remember the vehicle per se of performing justice and righteousness is HaShem’s Torah!! So no wonder the adversary is working so hard to convince the masses to disregard it and toss it out!

So with all the craziness going on around us today, instead of being overwhelmed, perhaps we need to see it as a message of hope that very soon our redemption draws near!! Very soon our King will gather us up and take us to the Coronation Ceremony in the Heavenly Temple!

I Kings 10:9 says “May HaShem, your Elohim, be blessed, Who has chosen you (David/Picture of Messiah), to place you upon the throne of Israel; in HaShem’s everlasting love for Israel He has established you as king, TO DO JUSTICE AND RIGHTEOUSNESS.” Baruch HaShem!

I hope this Op wasn’t overwhelming or too in depth…I just hope and pray this Op was helpful in getting some understanding of what is going on around us and why it is so! May it be so VERY soon in our days!

Shalom!
